Hello all and welcome to week 6. This week's game of the week will be the jugernaut clash between Wild Thangs and SimKonville Fraggles.

Fraggles are unbeaten and with home field advantage are considered the favorites. However the Wild Thangs should not be sniffed at and we've seen already this season that upsets do happen.

Stay tuned for interviews with both managers...

Our Fraggle beat reporter has just come in with an extensive interview with SimKon:

Question 1. You've had a perfect start to the season going 5-0 and it seems no team can touch you. Is there talk already of an unbeaten season in the locker room?

Obviously, we are happy to be starting 5-0. The locker room - especially the veterans - though is keeping focus on the next game only and getting back to consistency. This season is not about setting a record - it is about showing character. The organization as a whole is in transformation. We had to say goodbye to some quality players at the end of last season and even some this year. I don't know if you saw - but we are without our #1 and #2 at QB and our best LB. In the end these are decisions we needed to take. But nobody takes joy in letting players like Sigismund Schneider go. He went through our academy, was with the team for 9 seasons and destined to retire a Fraggle.

Question 2. Some pundits are arguing that Wild Thangs are much more the underdog than most people think and that you will run out as comfortable winners? Do you agree or are you worried that an upset might be on the cards?

The way I see it - this game is totally up for grabs. Fraggle Rock is hard to crack, meaning I like our chances. There's definitely not a clear-cut underdog in this one though. I expect the Wild Thangs to be well prepared as always and totally dialed in. You totally can see that on film after their early season loss. On the other side it took us until last week to play a satisfying game. I was really happy about the game against the true winners home. It was the first game where things clicked again. Defense was sharp and the offense's gameplan was executed perfectly. So: I expect this to be a last second thriller.

Question 3. What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be?

The ground game. Both teams take pride in running the football. I believe the team which is able to move the ball consistently will come out on top. I won't go into game planning specifics - but I can assure you - we'll stay true to our identity.

Pundit update:

Famous (notorious?) pundit Bovakian picks Fraggles for this match-up.

RZBeckos however has been updated and picks Wild Thangs for this game!!

This game has just got a little more intriguing!

So the Wild Thangs cause what can be called an upset of sorts and take the victory in 4th quarter scoring fest! And the game lived up to the expectations, great game guys!

So Bovakian got my game right and Fraggles wrong. Personally I had wanted it the other way

Just wondering why they tell noobs to only run the ball as running the ball is sooo ineffective it's unreal. I learned my lesson today...the hard way!

It has opened an easy path for Narann to grab the number 1 seed as they appear unstoppable.

This just in from our beat reporter who took a long time to get back with the interview!

Question 1. You've had a pretty good start this season and your only loss has come against a good Divers team. How do you rate your chances going into this game?

I think it's going to be close, but I do not like my chances...

Question 2. Pundits are saying that that the Fraggles are clear favorites for this game. How do you approach a game where you are the underdog? Do you for example change the playbook accordingly or do you count on your strenghts regardless of opponent?

I generally do detailed scouting only for a game or 2 each season. For this game, I just held my breath and prayed!

Question 3. What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be?

We need to stop their passing game, force some turnovers, and hope that my young kicker can do his job!

EDIT by editor: Well done stizz and congrats on this win!

It was a scary game - he had those big passes, but I got lucky in the end!

Sorry for the short and late replay - I am on the other side of the world, and it is only 0430...
