Swabians again. Hunters looks like they are doing it right, but still a few seasons away.

My division is a bit lone and cold, so it´s hard for me to find competition and rivalry

Few seasons away might be putting it mildly but thanks for the kind words, I'll certainly be trying!

I picked this division because it had three bots, which was more than any other division and didn't look good or seem fair. It means I'll get some cheap wins which perhaps isn't a good thing if you want to take building for the future to the extreme, but it'll even up all those beatings Schwabe will hand me.

Can't really say I understand the game yet and have taken to it very slowly, will likely continue to make mistakes as I go but have had some tips on how to do it. Didn't really scout the draft before hand so perhaps someone can review these for me:-

1.9 - Francisco Menezes, CB, age 20; Int 38.4; Str 30.8, Spd 49.4 (capped), TW 37.4, Tkl & Vis both 30+, 3.5*/2 Exp/4.5* Talent
2.41 - Paride Calesso, LB, age 21; Int 41.8; Str 41.4, Spd 41.7 (capped), TW 31.7, Tkl 31, Vis 27, 3.5*/3.5 Exp/4.5* Talent
3.73 - Arturo Rey, K, age 23; Str 50 (capped), Spd 30, Kick 27.4, Vision 20.4, TW 27.4, 3*/2 Exp/4.5* Talent

Yes, I drafted a guy who may be best suited to kicker (and I'm not a Tampa Bay fan, lol), but I just took BPA based on talent. I'll do more research next time.

Francisco was my No.15. As you have not plenty good players I would put him to OLB so you´re more flexible.
Paride was my No.18. He will also be a good DE and I think this is the more important position.
Arturo was my last choice. If I where you at the moment I would put him to the OL, because he has 50 strength.
If you have more questions feel free to PM.

Congratulations Morgantown Mad Dogs

You outcoached me and your plays for those 5 interceptions means I have to go back to my playbook.

The NC North has just got very interesting !!!

Thanks, but I have to admit that I cheated.

I decided to MotY our game. I still have a couple of new key players that need to max out team chemistry, so I decided to buy some time and hope it helps me down the road when they are at full strength. Plus even though it's early in the season, I couldn't afford to go 0-2 against my division mates. And my next league and supercup matches should be easy, so I have time to recover my Physical Conditioning from the MotY.

So don't toss your playbook out quite yet, you're still in good shape.

It's not cheating - you did the right thing - win now and develop your players for more wins later

Funny though that in game stats that intensity is showing normal ?

I can see a scenario where you, me and warriors all finish 11-5 !!!

Weird, not sure why the intensity showed normal, maybe a bug?

I'm still on pace to win only 9 games, and I think the Borderliners win 11 this season. The Bounty Hunters and I will be neck and neck in the race for the playoffs, but I still think you, the Warriors and Fummer get into the playoffs while I barely miss out. There are some tough games that could go either way for you, me and the warriors, so anything can still happen.

What a night.

For the first time in a long time, i had time to sit down and follow the game(s). I´ll be so rude as to start with my own game: Pregame, i thought myself the huge underdog against the devils. By halftime i was up by 2, and it could have been more if... Second half, was more predictable, and the devils cruzed to a 28-7 win. Cant wait for my backups to become even slightly competetive. Still, congrats to Packers6614 on a deserved win.
Looking around the league (and past the bot games), the close games stand out: 69ers beatting the kids (the pedagoque in me screams), shows their tanking days should be over. Hunters kept it surprisingly close against the taints, a performance the Swabians couldnt match against the strong Ravens. And Lostregos showed stregth against Caracas.
Finally a shoutout to my "boys": lmnobzb of the Egos, and Emir Drapic of the Gays. We all have a long way to go, but i hope to meet you in the POs/bowl/1.1 one day. Keep figthing.

There was no-one more surprised than me that we kept it close against the Taints! Third quarter was the turning point - down 3-14 at the half, lost a fumble and they drove downfield but missed a 43-yd FG. We drove right back down and kicked a 51-yarder, forced a punt, drove back down for a TD. Suddenly 13-14, and when we forced a fumble on their next play we had a golden opportunity to take the lead. BUT, stuffed on 3rd-2 and then missed a 23-yd FG. Opportunity gone. Taints pulled away with two 4th quarter FGs.

But I'm not under any illusions, they are the better team and deserved it, certainly outgained us. I was just happy we didn't lose by 30+ points!!
