congrats to both the good results and keeping the Fire 2.2. thread alive
and don't be afraid of promotion! Important is that you can ignore losing games (which will obv. happen) and stick to your strategy. Don't rush into buying non-qualified players for a short term (but look out for vets with affordable wages! to improve key positions - if wanted). I'm saying this, because there comes a point where the playbook becomes the most important part of this game, it can win you games where your team has no chance on paper. Therefore, in my opinion, the first season in Fire 1.1. you really start focusing on the playbook, as you will face tougher challenges than in Fire 2.x. At the end, if you can ignore losses for a season or two (instead of winning almost everything), you will improve much faster! |

Good advice, appreciate it. I'm not thinking much about winning, but more concerned about how much I will loose in attendence and thereby income. Yes, PB will be experimental next season  |

There's a boost to attendance from 2.x to 1.1 - I think it's 15% but double check in the manual.

Those 4th downs and 1 yard to go.....I think I would lay it off against stronger teams, if I were you
