Hey Bloodbeak,
Trust me I totally understand the frustration dude and you have every right to feel cheated/upset. What happened to you really sucks. Unfortunately there isn't much that can be done at this point and the fact that we find a loss so frustrating shows how much we care about the game as Holly said. As for randomness it's bound to happen this way because rare events turn games in football. If for example it's determined that after taking into consideration formation, players, coaches etc... there is a 2% chance for the CB to intercept a pass. You can target the CB 75 times and throw 0 interception, or target him 75 times and throw 4 interceptions resulting in 4 return TDs... Same call on the field, very different outcomes. |

Pete had to run the season rollover twice... that's really bad luck Blookbeak. The site crashed as I was up 13-3 against the Dynamos in the 2nd quarter and then the rematch gave him a 42-0 lead on me Anyway, good luck to both finalists, see you all in the league and cup this season Yeah, strange results. The friendly cup should be played during a season or shouldn't be played at all imo. That was the intention both times but it took a while for everyone to sign up for the cup. I'll start Fire Friendly Cup III as soon as this one is over this time and set it for the final to be on the last Sunday of the season. |

Congrats Alex!!
the two pick 6s certainly destroyed all my hopes. Nonetheless, not unhappy with the first real challange after almost my entire starting team retired in the last three seasons and now at work is a much younger/less experienced team. Looking forward to the season and good luck to all! see you at the next edition! (and, after all, we could think about "power mode" - I'm myself not a big fan of it, but it would make the cup certainly more exiting and appealing for younger teams as well!) ..... |

Thank you, Joi!
I understand that the "power mode" probably would be better for the competition. But it's much more about your playbook than anything else, and I'm fed up with playbook tinkering for the moment |
