OVERVIEW
2 teams join forces to create one 'overall' team, with cumulative names being genuine NFL teams. Numbers dependant, teams will be sorted into divisions, or just play in one big division, playing other teams, with combined points tallies of each team forming their combined team score, which gains them a win or loss for the doubles league. EXAMPLE - TEAMS Derbyshire Electric/Free Agent Mascots = Washington Redskins Adventurers/Erdington Doleys = Chicago Bears. YOU CHOOSE WHICH NFL TEAM YOU WANT TO BE. ONCE ITS ON THE SECOND POST ON THIS THREAD, IT HAS GONE! EXAMPLE - SCORES Gameday 1 - Derbyshire Electric 28 v 31 Lakefield Vikings - Erdington Doleys 16 v 18 Devon Dog Soldiers - Comeback Kids 21 v 40 Free Agent Mascots - Adventurers 28 v 33 WV Bobcats DOUBLES LEAGUE FIXTURE Washington Redskins 68 (28+40) v 44 (28+16) Chicago Bears LEAGUE STANDINGS 1 Washington Redskins 1-0 +24 2 Chicago Bears 0-1 -24 Ties count, so if scores are equal, both teams are awarded a tie. RULES Fixtures will be played across 12 Gamedays of the RZA Season 27, though not every Gameday may be used. All teams shall play equal fixtures on a round robin basis. Fixtures will be published in advance of the season start For bye weeks, the team on a bye will receive their season average as a score for that week. So if their bye is on Gameday 4, their score for that fixture will be scores of Gamedays 1-3 divided by 3. Should any team play a BOT, they will again get their season average as their score, irrespective of what they actually score against the BOT. This is because other team may not get the luxury of facing BOT(s) and keeps it fair for all. Should any participating team become BOT through the season, they stay in the competition but only get their average to date for each onward game. Only teams (for this tournament) in Admirals 1.1 for Season 27 can participate PLAYOFFS At the end of the regular season, the top 4 teams, either from the one division or top 2 from two divisions, will be seeded and play in a three week playoff : Semi Finals (Gameday 14) 1 v 4 2 v 3 Final (Gameday 16) Winner of Game 1 v Winner of Game 2 Overall winners (each team) will get 25 credits each from myself directly, assuming Pete allows this.
