He just makes use of what the game allows. Also, he can call plays as he wants. But after a punt game like that, as a player of that franchise i would lose moral, as a spectator I wouldnt go to any other Potatos home game for a long time. Now, if only Pete could tell this to the computer.

Just accept this guys cheats and abuses the system for whatever purpose he sees fit and then gets all hurt when fellow managers, who play the game fairly and honestly, get very angry by it as this has potentially a huge effect on others, who gain wins, even have benefits to PD, which means some teams suffer relegation, miss out on playoffs - or indeed get into playoffs, at the expense of others. And then you wonder why the true longstanding managers who have contributed so much more than this cheating (w) tanker are leaving the game....you think RZA will survive and prosper with the likes of him around? More fool you if you do or believe he is entitled to call plays like this 'as he likes'. Its abhorrent. Adventurers gone is very sad....and more will follow. But hey....who cares right....many built this game to what it is....then new player simpletons who think its funny and 'because they can' come along and ruin it. Well done. |

Yep. Very sad to see Adventurers go. My supporter account expires in 3 days, and I'm deciding whether I want to continue or not. I love the team building aspect of this game, drafting players and bringing them and youth players through (with the occasional transfer thrown in) and don't really concern myself with results (obviously). I've just started messing around with my playbook and extending it, after all this time, just to change things up from my pure SG4 attack - obviously its a work in progress, having lost 5 of 6. I'll probably carry on. My longtime starting QB is notoriously immobile (SPD and AGI) and I'll be replacing him next season, given I have three guys behind him who can move, or at least not stand like statues. Plus I landed my first three-trait youth player, so I should probably see how they all shake out. And gabriel gets bored when he only has a few souls to prey on, can't do that to the poor chap. |

its quality, not quantity.
id rather have one Rock than 27 Ziterdos….. but then id rather have 1 Ziterdo than 40000000000000 Stanfords…. RZA is bleeding heavily and dying a slow painful death. I just hope Pete can identify not just the wound, but the cause(s), and eradicate it/them before its too late....but I think the damage may already be done.  |

LOL - The one who offends other gamers the most, is the one who complains about dropped forum participation.
Sometimes, if you get the impression that wherever you are it smells like poo, maybe its you that is the poo. I had a nice conversation with Adventures when he decided to leave. I wont give details, but this: He didnt left because of that pathetic coincidence that was tried to create a couple of posts above. imo, nothing else but another cheap shot to catch some applause. btw: If you want to report someone for violating rules, just do it, send your PM to Admin. No need to make calls in the forum (what in turn isnt welcome too, afaik) |

My - and others - opinion on a player who is a cast iron cheat is based on fact. Your opinion of me is based on the personality i display on here just to get some reaction. But i suspect youre that dumb as to not realise that. No one said Adventurers left because of Stanford or his antics. But it is very true that the likes of him - and yourself - are driving more veteran and long standing managers away because 1) the game is being centered more around you as newbies and 2) because you have such short sighted and blinkered vision to come here being the big i am without any knowledge of whats happened here before. Im not the only person who has directed things at Stanford - he deserves all he gets IMO. You wanna run at me, go right ahead. I'll damn the consequences...will you? I doubt it....you'll just go crying to Pete like others do. |
