It was a way closer game than expected. I would consider it an an anomaly as my true level is probably the one showed against PJ on Saturday. Anyway good game and good luck for the PO!

Today's games require a re-sorted Power Rankings
1. Baltimore Ravens - probable NC 2 seed 2. DC Washingtonians - win on Saturday and get the AC 1 seed 3. Dortmund Griffins - NC 1 seed locked 4. Michigan State Spartans (+1) - maybe too low at 4?; AC 1 or 2 seed 5. Munich Runners (-1) - in part because of unimpressive win but also MSU destroyed Worpex; yes Buzi won the head-to-head, but it came on last play of the game 6. Marife-Lacion - PO hopes improved with Schrodingers loss; would still do well to win on Saturday 7. Naprzód Marsz! - has the easiest match of the NC 11-4 teams 8. GDansk Redskins (+1) - unofficially a PO lock; win on Saturday and win the AC North and the 4 seed 9. Konjarnik HighTowers (+2) - probable NC 3 seed 10. Devon Warriors (+2) - unofficially won the NC South today and NC 4 seed 11. Philadelphia Phoenix (-3) - ouch! unofficially the NC 6 seed which means a third shot against Munich in the PO 12. Schrodingers Cats (-2) - win on Saturday and win the AC North and the 4 seed; of the three 11-4 AC teams, he has the best PD 13. Idrosburghi Verona - unofficially the NC 5 seed which means a third shot against Devon in the PO 14. Alpin Ducks- Kanard made me look smart by ranking him this high with an impressive performance today 15. Växjö Gladiators AFC- today shows why these are hard to do: struggled against The Beast but nearly beat PJ (and did beat me in SC play) 16. La Spezia Sprugoleans 17. Bautzen Greywolves - made a strong argument to move up by nearly beating Verona 18. Denver Broncos (+4) - an overreaction? It is obvious the team the Broncos are putting on the field as of late is not the same team that started the season 19. The Chicago Cubs (-1) - the Cubs and the next three teams all drop a spot as a result of the Broncos moving up 20. Paris Rioters (-1) - good luck in the SC PO 21. The Beast (-1) 22. New York Revolvers (-1) 23. SH Cougars 24. Skalica Eagles 25. Kaunas Hurricanes 26. Bern Marcupilamis |

I still see KHT higher than this.
The demotion of my team to 5th is understandable. The Ducks are moving up to serious challenger next season. And Denver moving up as well, not surprised. Gladiators like a box of chocolates. And not always Marabou |

Last day of the regular saison. Good game everyone. The Ducks will be in holidays tonight and 4 of them will leave the team by Monday. The team will start the season weaker than right now, but it will be stronger by the end of next season.

Two 11-5 teams miss out on the playoffs: Marife-Lacion and Växjö Gladiators AFC. Extra hard for hourt, who beat Schrodingers Cats (also 11-5) in their only head-to-head.
That aside, the AC Wild Card round has some intriguing match-ups: (6)Schrodingers Cats at (3)Konjarnik HighTowers (5)Naprzód Marsz! at (4)Gdanks Redskins NC Wild Card round less intriguing with divisional rivals go at it for a third time (6)Philadelphia Phoenix at (3)Munich Runners (5)Idrosburghi Verona at (4)Devon Warriors |

This is like a veteran meet up. I am glad to see Marsz back in the playoffs as well as Devon, When in promoted to 1.1 many ages ago these were the guys to beat. As was Verona. I believe each match is intriguing, and I am curious what Worpex will do. Keep the PB or change it ? If he changes it he can beat my team for sure. I still don’t know how to prep my team for this third matchup of the season  |

Hope I can make my match close against Munich, thats all I want. I doubt i'll do much playbook changes cause I have never really done that in my entire 5 year history! No reason to expect me to change that now.
A shame that Marife and the Gladiators missed the play-offs. I think both teams are better than mine and Verona's. We just got lucky to be in the crappy conference.  |
