Ok, I did not know this. I guess, there is some extra motivation for Aleksej to make the playoffs and to score 521 yards in these next season. It will be his last season, his disappointment of having missed promotion is gone and he has decided to pass Tuqiri. Alois made it to 10th in his last season, leading his team back to Elite.

He's only 31 (perhaps you were doing the math that next time he would appear in SD playoffs, he'd be 33). Regardless, Tuesday will be his last time suiting up. Surprised to see him on this list, though

I was surprised too about Aleksej. He spent 3 seasons in Elite. but this counts for most. Millet for example spent two season in Elite and one in SD 3

So Alois will be back in season 36 ? I am not sure

JLM played his last season at 30 years and was not planning on retiring before the team turned bot. He also played in an average team for 2 to 3 seasons.

I spoke to him recently. He was considering a comeback. then he saw that his old favorite manager was back and he got all excited to eventually join you once again. But then he saw your team and eloquently expressed his opinion by saying "hell no !".

But he is certainly being remembered as one of the best by some folks here.

Tuqiri had a bit of an advantage - he was a 1st round draft pick at a time when draft picks would be part of the main roster very quickly, thus I was able to get him playing at a young age.

However, the game engine was harsh on passing for several seasons, meaning passing yards were hard to come by. Then the engine was tweaked so that big plays became much more frequent (almost too frequent - something I worked out quickly and was able to use - run run run run for ages, pass - big play, run run run run etc) before eventually settling to the midpoint where we are now.
