Well, it's time for a big change on the Sailors locker room ... why? simply because i was spending too much time in this game and this cannot continue ... the results of this time spend was ok but still not great....something like we are still no 1 on Top 100 Rated Teams but we never win a major title...
So, the changes? Sailors will never scout an opponent again....we do not have any tools in the game to do that and changing a few lines in the playbook takes forever...i was using excel to scout and yes i had an 16-0 season in Elite but too much time consuming in the same time ...this was already started this season and the results are ok, 6 Elite wins... Sailors will kill the Youth Academy.... yes we will close it...we will take those 18.2 mil a season and spend it on TM buying 7 players, ready to play, at 2.5 mil every season ... i think we will be ok with much less time spent on training the youth players... Sailors will use one singe playbook on offense and one on defense .... we will try to improve the playbook very very carefully and try to go on top this way... i was always using the maximum number of playbooks and try in the same time to improve all of them .... too much time consuming .... Sailors will never train young players....so we will buy only players ready to play and train them PC to be always close to 100% and train them at some 3dr skill forever like catching for OL to be able to play TEs... The goals will still remain the same.... to win every game we play and eventually to win a major title.... we will add a very tough goal, to become the richest franchise in RZA, and since we never had 100 mil in our bankroll till now, i`m really not sure how we gonna do that... Greetings from the Sailors staff! P.S. P.S. I must tell you, guys, that all this idea come to me when i start giving a closer look at the other Football Manager game i was playing, MFN, where i was able to be successful in my first full season with way way more less time spend on the game that i was usually spend in RZA. Very interesting ! Good luck in this new way of playing.
Not sure you will resist long before starting scouting some games again. |

With little interest in the TM these days, you're probably right about saving money by buying a half dozen or so vets every season instead of investing in the YA.

It`s been awhile now i was thinking about this and i`m pretty sure that the best way to have great players is still the Youth Academy but you need to pick 16yo and follow very closely their training two times a week till 24-25yo witch is way too much time consuming for me so i am going with closing the YA and we will see ... This was basically my strategy for a long time.
And it still is! Yeah, it really doesn't work that well. Granted, you're way better at this game than I am, so maybe it'll work for you. Last edited on 2019-12-04 21:13:28 by WorpeX |

I believe you will win SD next season. Your team lacks depth but currently nobody has as much 4.5* players than you. Your OL remains one of the best in the game. Your secondary and LB squads are scary as shit too. You will make NC North hell again.
