Thanks guys. Just trying to bring some life to this forum.
With that, here's what I've got through the Divisional Playoffs: Wild Card Results: Home teams took care of business in this round, going 4-0 and all moving on to the Divisional round. Am I really surprised, no, looking at the matchups, but I would have liked to see at least one upset happen. Honestly, I feel like my team underperformed in the Wild Card round. We've beaten the TigerCats on the road once already in the regular season, and I was kind of expecting that to happen again. Good game skeetz, I was wrong about your team. They certainly are ready this year. Divisional Results: Now this is where things started to get interesting. Home and road teams split the games evenly for a 2-2 record in this round. This is where skeetz proved his team to be ready, manhandling the dominant BoneCrushers on the road and proving any doubters (namely me) wrong with an impressive victory. The Lunatic Purple Cowboys and Watford Hornets took care of business at home, each also getting to play at home again for the Conference Championship. Meitheisman also had his team ready today, taking care of business against the previously undefeated Fargo Knights on the road. Strong showing from the long-standing powers in Fire 1, along with one new power in the Watford Hornets. Conference Championship Prediction: TigerCats @ Lunatic Purple Cowboys After the way the Cats have played in the playoffs, I can't pick against them. The Cowboys will put up a valiant fight, but the TigerCats will hold them off for the win. Lyon Eagles @ Watford Hornets The Hornets are a good team, they've proved that, but I don't think they are ready for the elite competition that the Eagles will bring. I don't predict a thrashing by the Eagles, but they will win soundly to go to the Bowl. Fire 2 Update: We have a new team in Fire 2, welcome TheElite! We hope that you will find great success in this game! If you need any help, we'd all be very happy to help. The Northeastern Huskies look to secure an easy Bowl win, with only bot teams to beat. Supercup Update: Wilmersdorf Wadenbeisser and PR Chaser are the only two Fire teams remaining in the competition. GO FIRE!!! |

Third, my guys just played really poorly: lots of missed tackles, missed blocks and unable to stop his offense. Finally, I think my team mostly overachieved this season. I think all of that combined provided the lopsided result But congratulations to Lunatic for making it back to Elite and to Watford (NC East was my division for most of my time in Fire) for quickly climbing the ranks of Fire into Elite. Great games and an exciting finish today. |

Better luck next season, PRChaser.
This next season is huge for my team. This is the first major changeout of players, since their's no way I'm going to re-up everyone on the roster, simply can't afford that. So, six rookies coming in from Youth Academy, including 4 DTs, so defense will be all new next year. I'll have to wait for the dust to settle to see where I'll be financially. I made the decision to pay HUGE for my star corner. Hope he's worth it. He has been so far. I have two 50 Intelligence QBs, but had to let one go for cost. Can't pay 2 salaries over 500K. Sheesh. |

I have to say, I did not expect this outcome in the conference championship games, but that's always exciting when your team isn't affected by the outcome (well, it means that I'll have to play TigerCats two times next season
 ).
Without any more scheduled games in the mix for my team, anybody up for a Friday Friendly this week? |
