After 2,5 years of being careful and avoiding contacts it did need only 1 dickhead to get first my wife and then me infected with covid-19.
That guy was on the same day on a concert (large crowd) and some happening, and a fe days later, with synptoms but a negative selve test, he spend 1,5h with my wife in a small room, without masks, for a employee talk on the job. The next day he has a positive test and the dominos did fall one by one. He did infect at least 3 persons directly and god knows how many, including me, indirectly. My wife and I had 3 vaccine shots in the past. We both had several days symptoms before getting a positive test, my wife even did an official Non-PCR-test and that was negative also. Only 2 days later the tests did hit positiv. No wonder this pandemic is still active. Wreckless people in combination with stupid behavior equals spreading. The good news is, my wife is on recovery path, still ill, but doing better and for me also it seems to halt at a certain level, I expect to get better on Thursday or Friday. |

Hope you're feeling better....I think with Omicron (and it's variants), it will just be impossible to go forever without getting it. I'm more curious now (that I've had it once), if I can get re-infected now or I'm good for a while. Also, Australia is going thru a twindemic, Covid + Flu. I guess they're concerned that this could hit the northern hemisphere in our winter. We also now have Monkeypox in New York City. Oh joy! Steve SD Blitz |

Yes, me and my wife are getting better. Tomorrow is the first date for testing to get out of isolation early.

Steve SD Blitz I believe the current thought is that after being infected, you are good for three months before vulnerable again. I've had it twice now, and the second time I only knew I was positive because they test us at work. Only symptom was a sore throat. Just get vaccinated when you can and keep practicing safe distancing. |
