dont view relegation that way mate,
- you wont have less income in SD1, mediacenter should be nearly Elite level - you will probably get deep into the playoffs >> more money - you have a great chance to get back to Elite >> ticket to CoC >> more money - if you have some nearly ready players, you can put them into your lineup early >>less salary>>more money |

My team was not supposed to promote to Elite. It was not my goal but it happened. In the beginning of the season I made an overview of the salaries of all Elite teams. Mine was the last by a huge margin. Up there I was curious too what would happen. What did happen ? In four or five matches my team never stood a chance. The Ducks blew me off the field twice. Bracciano did the same. Then there were lots of matches where it looked like my team could win. The first half saw me in the lead. Our second match yesterday was an exaggerated version of this with my team leading 17-0 by half time and extending this lead to 20-0 directly after and losing 23-34 at the end. In two matches my team managed to actually win when it normally shouldn't have. This was against the Wolves and against your Ravens. Why were these two matches different in the result ? Was the game engine so totally off ? Looking at the stats, my pass offence is ranked 5th of the league, my pass defence 3rd of the league. Most of my playbooks used favour the pass over the run. Yesterday 62 passes against only 6 runs. These are high risk playbooks. They mostly work for parts of the matches. It makes sense that the game engine has me lose most matches in the second half. It also makes sense that there is the odd match out where I don't get too many interceptions or sacks. If I was you, I also would be very disappointed. I still don't believe that the elite league is ideally built. I still believe that it should be possible to steal places from other regions. I also understand why it isn't the case and that this will never happen. As holly said, going down to SD1 will have the advantage of having a financially strong season. Of course you have built this team for Elite and to make the playoffs there to have a shot at the title. But you will make more money next season and season 48 might see you back in the Elite playoffs going for the title. I would wish it to you. Your wins against PR Chaser, the Ducks, the Elephants, the Lakers, the Vikings and the Wolves show that you can make it. |

I got promoted twice to Elite in 1 season. But I will have more or less 200M in the beginning of S47 something more if I can play some more SC matches. 8.3M x turnover means more or less -65M after league & SC regular season. With a good season, winning the bowl means +31M and 3 playoff turns in SC another +15M. So a net income of -19M, affordable, and I would have fuel for another couple of seasons in Elite. But ... with a decent season not playing the bowl (only DIV+CON) and only 1 playoff turn in SC means -45M and another season in SD1, with a bad season ... I am thinking... probably a minor rebuild in S47 and a good season can work otherwise a major rebuil will be forced. |

I totally agree. And I believe your team would win 19 matches out of 20. This was the odd match out where my team didn't produce too many interceptions or got stopped too early because the defence gut accustomed to the plays. As you, I have had my times when I needed to come to terms with a match engine that didn't seem "fair". In my last Elite season there were several matches when things just went wrong in my view. I now try to see the broader picture and what other managers, like yourself, tried to explain to me back then. |

These Prairie Dogs are wild. My team has just suffered its biggest defeat of all season. Next Elite season will be a though one, as always in our region.

I was every bit as shocked by this result as you. Your quarterbacks had a rough day, and I was fortunate that my 3-4-4 handled your running game reasonably well.
SD's Elite division will be tough as always, I just don't think I'll be part of it. Having to play at Leeds on Saturday is a very big hurdle. |

Did I see this correctly that the Praire Gods (after yesterdays win I don't correct this autocorrect of my pc) and the Ducks are our only aces in the race for the supercup title ?
