New in league 1.1 for the season. Not sure how good my team will ultimately be but I'm looking forward to being able to play around with my playbook to see what works.

Welcome on board, fellow Admiral.
Definitely you chose a competitive league to play, but if you have the atience and the discipline to endure and learn you will find one of the best group of coach around. Wish you and all other good luck for the incoming season. Everybody remember to pledge for the Mediacenter !!! |

welcome, welcome. this is a tough league. probably the toughest next to elite. if you don't get discouraged and set goals low like win three games this year, 5 games next year then a winning season, then the playoffs,,,you may be an elite in a few seasons. playing with your playbook is a good start. we need players. just stick around this a great game. look forward to your competition. tom

Only a D2 owner here, but enjoying. Came in at the end of the last season.
Finally feeling my team is 'mine'. Other than a friendly against a much better team at the start of the season, we've gone 6-0, but only one of those was against a human owner. Still, beating the last bot team with significantly better talent was a relief. Have a game against Dark Avenger tomorrow though, two 3-0 teams and certainly my toughest test of the season so far! |

You seem like a player who could stick around for a long time. I hope that is the case. If not clear untill now, feel free to ask any questions you may have(proberbly not this forum, but rookies or PM). Life in league 2 is very different from life in league 1, so make sure you are ready for it. 1st off: build your stadium. Welcome again Fummer. |

Yup, D2 looks pretty tame compared to D1. Don't expect to get there this season.
Working on that stadium... Building up a core of young players I like a lot. Doing lots of reading of manuals and the forum tutorials. |
