Welcome, all to a new season!
 A season where many have dreams of a Thunder Championship.
We are happy to introduce the managers of the Los Chargers, Moorefield Flames, Bulldozer.  May you feel free to PM any of us, or use this thread to learn tips, seek advice, or brag if you so choose.
Also a special thanks to the manager of The Blitzing Bisons for returning for a second season in Thunder 1. As far as the first season, aren't you glad that's over? LOL. As we get set to start this season, the media center needs your contribution and if all possible... the full pledge amount. There is one team in financial trouble, so let's give him supportive advice to help him right the ship if he reaches out for assistance. Other than that, how do you fell about this upcoming season? As for me, my team salary is at an all-time high at just over 2 million. I may need to start thinking about 3rd place in the NC South, but I'll stick to the basement for sure one more season. |

My goal is keep performance same as last season despite losing 15 players go (saving 2 mill in salary).
I pledged the full amount right away. As is said, but I'll repeat, it's FREE money. And not getting this money back will put you at a disadvantage compared to other league and to your competitors in Thunder 1. The more people participate, the more money you get back! |

We are now at 64.1% mediacenter in Thunder 1. We need to get to 75% to get that extra income. We can do this!!!!

Dumplings big match previews for week 1:
NC - Narann @ Pinoys - Last year both of these teams made the playoffs and a good start in the first game will help establish whether either are playoff material again this year NC - Destroyers @ Bulldozers - After a year in Elite the Bulldozers return and face last years playoff team the Destroyers. The Destroyers however have lost inspirational QB Donell Connell following their financial troubles AC - Eskimos @ Juggernaut - With the Centurions promoted to Elite does this make the Eskimos or the Juggernauts the favourite for the AC North Division. Dumplings big match reviews of week 1:
Well the new season has started and I will endeavour to write a quick summery of the action each week. As ever though this will only be fun if I get some banter from the rest of you so let's have plenty of comments in this Thunder thread. Narann 44:13 Pinoys - Narann puts a marker down by scoring 44 pts and having their QB throw 4 TD's and no Ints. Narann won the NC South division last season and seem intent to repeat that this season Destroyers 28:16 Bulldozers - The Bulldozers returned to Thunder from Elite and lost to a Destroyers team who are in financial trouble. With Donell Connell gone the Destroyers turned to QB Nigel Fanny who had a mixed game and was glad his defence chipped in with 3 Ints. Eskimos 17:35 Juggernaut - A close game at half time but in the 3rd Qtr Juggernaut made their previous Elite experience tell. The Eskimos QB's were sacked 10 times and with the Juggernaut RB Tod Fullerton rushing 22 times for 157 yards the teams in the AC will need to beware of the Juggernaut. Next weeks big games: Deflators @ Alligators Mantis @ Narann Xu Da @ Wild Thangs |
