I'm back with my World Cup tournament preview! I somehow got 7/8 teams correct only missing on the Magpies (who I touted for elite last season and they made me look dumb, so I switched it up... and they made me look dumb again.) The Sea Devil's teams have yet to lose with the Ravens and Ducks winning their qualifiers.
Group 1 was as expected, USA and France move on. Group 2 was also as expected but a little more drama as the Canadians are sent home with just one loss. Group 3 also filled with drama as the Austrians overtook the Russians in the last game. Group 4 was over quickly with the Italians and Czech team advancing. No easy games left in the final 8 here. I'm going with Italy and Germany on one side and France vs. Austria on the other. Good luck Earth! |

Hopefully you are right. But against the Bridges, my QB will need to do way better than yesterday with his 15 completed passes (52%) and 14 first downs.

What a Sunday!
The biggest win has been by 8 points. Only one team leading entering Q4 won the game and we even had an OT. We could not have hoped better! Congratulations to the UK, France, Germany and Austria! You felt against the best rated team ever in RZA history. I will try to avange you, but the Pirates sank the Ducks boat by 33 and 39 points recently.

After losing the very first game I was sure the world cup is over for my team, before it even started. Now I´m in the final, that`s really cool.

Fantastic game of the two probably most talented teams in game history.
Your team is not comparable to the one from season 39. I was thinking till the end your Ducks will make it. But I had been lucky at the end this time, that you didn't get the opportunity for game winning field goal. Its Austria vs. Germany now. Unfortunately I am playing the Malones on Saturday and will probably suffer a very heavy moral hit, which would make my team the underdog. |
