Welcome to season 44!

I'mmmm baaaccccckkkkkk. Maybe the Malones or Pirates will be kind and let me stay this time around. Other contenders returning and hoping to shake up the divisions include Pj's Ravens, Scratobones's Wolves, and Hotel's Falcons. Do the BoneDomers return to the form they had their first elite season?

Where do the young up and comers rank? I've got a couple surprise teams just like I warned you all about the Yorkies last season. My guess on this season's Yorkies contenders are Kevin's Attack Dogs out of Thunder and the Highland Wildcats trying to out-Yorkie the Yorkies in Claymore.

1. (15-1) Willemstad Bridges (1) Divisional Round
The Bridges are really going for it, they re-signed big time players(and even tried to buy a more expensive one) and are sporting a hefty 8.5m salary for the season.

2. (13-3) TigerCats (3) Elite Champion
Came for the draft pick, left with a shiny trophy to show off all over Hamilton and Canada.

3. (12-4) Salt City Pirates (2) Divisional Round
With a sexy new QB taking over, will the Pirates get back to the championship game or am I just eternally them each time I pick LuLuBa to win it all?

4. (11-5) The Beautiful French Ducks (5) NC Champion
The Ducks couldn't quite hold on in the championship and might be looking at other kicking options. Will being so close to the trophy inspire them to improve, or will the disappointment be too much pressure? Familiar rival PJ returns to add some in-division competition.

5. (13-3) Dumbarajko Elephants (7) NC Runner Up
I claimed this team would be under .500 while Dumba's Elephants took season 43 by storm riding the lightning all the way to the conference championship. This season he will have no Rufio bulletin board material, where will they get their inspiration?

6. (13-3) Chelt Nam Bobbers (4) Divisional Round
The Bobbers have been in Elite since season 28 and have only lost the division one time. This season will not break that streak.

7. (11-5) Home Malones (6) First Round
The Malones have probably already given the division to the Pirates after their crazy QB spending spree and are simply looking to gain a WC spot for the 4th season in a row. Ravens, Vaxjo, whoever doesn't win Galaxy, and the Kraken will be the early competition.

8. (9-7) PR Chaser (14) AC Runner Up
Sneaks into the playoffs after a crazy string of outcomes and knocks off the top team before falling to Fire rival and eventual champion TiCats. Unlike the previous 2 seasons we don't have to wait until the end to see where these teams rank as the face eachother just after the middlepoint.

9. (11-5) San Diego Blitz (10) First Round
Blitz v Dumba in week one. That'll set off Galaxy quickly. Steve has the easier schedule can he start a new streak or is Dumba going to keep hold and start his own streak?

10. (10-6) Green Mark Packers (8) First Round
The Packers took over Admirals from the Bobbers, but this season they add the second highest rated team ever in the Ducks and Elite veteran Wolves to the mix. Can csacsinho retain the trophy? This division should be really competitive.

11. (10-6) Diorite Lions (12) Divisional Round
What a wild season 43 in Claymore. The Hounds or Lions had dominated the division since the Gangsters stepped down. Yorkies, Lions, and Hounds for a while looked like they could all make the playoffs or get relegated. Lions pulled through at the end sweeping the Hounds into relegation then advancing to round 2 of the playoffs.

12. (11-5) Peoples Republic of Yorkshire (11) First Round
Last season's Cinderella team opens the season with the Lions to establish early alpha status. Can they repeat and take the next step of winning a playoff game this season?

13. (8-8) BobBoy Magpies (9)
Magpies collapsed last season losing 4/5 and letting PR Chaser sneak in the postseason. With possibly a tougher division are the Magpies at risk of relegation?

14. (16-0) Space Kraken Monarchs Champion
Your favorite (also least favorite) RZA rankings master has returned and is rewarded with a difficult schedule. With a bonus game against the Elephants and Monarchs vs Sea Devils (Ravens/Vaxjo) it'll be quite the wildcard race playing all preseason contenders minus the Blitz.

15. (15-1) Raven Loonies Sea Devils Champion
Can PJ reclaim his spot as an annual Elite contender this season? Vaxjo put up a solid season to stick around and I'm guessing they'd like the stay. The Sea Devil "Don't get relegated" race should be a fun one.

16. (9-7) Växjö Vikings AFC (13)
And here they are, outperformed my estimations last season to avoid relegation to just to get a big time contender landing in the division. That luck with the schedule could be huge though. The Ravens pulled Bobbers and Blitz, while Vaxjo gets Mongolia and Ergodicity.

17. (8-8) Norfolk Dumplings (16)
It was a tale of 2 seasons for the Dumplings in 43. First half they looked like a playoff lock. Second half pushed them to the brink of relegation for the second season in a row. Is this the season they make that extra step to the postseason or do they not win the last game of the season to stick around one more time?

18. (16-0) Highland Wildcats Claymore Champion
Welcome to Elite. Your gift is the first 5 games. 3 Against playoff teams, one against a division rival, and one against a super highly rated team. We'll know in 2 weeks if this team can compete or if they need a couple more seasons.

19. (8-8) Ergodicity (17)
They started 5-1 and had the inside track on a playoff spot. Are they going to be more consistent and contend for a wildcard spot or will the division newcomers bring them back down?

20. (15-1) Vicious Attack Dogs Thunder Champion
Alright, so I like this team. People have known I've liked this team for a few seasons now. I've picked them out of Thunder for at least the last 2 seasons. They finally proved me right, so now I guess I should them. Do they have enough to compete in Elite or do they need the losing experience to come back in 46 to do it right?

21. (15-1) Motol Ducks Admiral Champion
I have also picked the Ducks a number of times out of Admirals over the seasons and Mr. Pumpkin finally delivered. This is a crazy high rated team, joining a very deep division, with easier bonus games than his division rivals. Would not be surprised if they were not relegated.

22. (16-0) AS Roma Wolves Admiral Runner Up
Unless Scratobones decides he's the one not getting relegated instead. His previous elite stint lasted 3 seasons and included a playoff berth. Admirals is the deepest and most competitive of the divisions, and will not be surprised with who wins, or gets relegated.

23. (15-1) Saker Falcons Claymore Runner Up
Falcons were one game away from both the playoffs and avoiding relegation in season 42. Now There's a new king of Claymore and a new challenger. We'll find out right away where they stand. Packers, Wildcats, Lions, Yorkies are the first 4 games.

24. (13-3) BoneCrushers Fire Champion
The BoneDomers are back! Their first season in Elite they were a game away from the playoffs, but in the return season they were eliminated by week 12. Fire's top 2 are so good it'll take a lot to push them out, but this team should be more prepared for this task than most.

25. (13-3) Moraira Moors Dragons Champion
Another fast rising first timer who started the game in season 38. The team looks decent and Ergodicity should take notice as they knocked off perennial Elite teams the Gardians and Werewolves (x2) to get here.

26. (13-3) Poznan Knights Monarchs Runner Up
Knights return for their second time and are rewarded with the hardest schedule in the league. Pirates, Malones, and Kraken twice each. Bobbers, Ducks, Ravens, Vaxjo, Blitz, Bridges.

27. (15-1) Bretzfeld Bandits Galaxy Champion
Kottan has been a back and forth Elite team since season 38. That probably won't change this season. Consistant with a strong defense, can the offense put up enough points to challenge the Elephants or Blitz?

28. (13-3) Tampa Bay Bandits Dragons Runner Up
Second place in Dragons could be wide open this season and the Bandits have been here before. We'll know by week 4 if they have a shot with the Elephants, Moors, and Bobbers all in a row.

29. (16-0) Ghost of Bautzen Sea Devil Runner Up
Another team that might be better than what the record will state, but a brutal schedule will make that impossible. Use the season to learn so you can get back here before Buzi and ptdoc decide they want to be awesome again.

30. (13-3) Hainaut Gamecocks Fire Runner Up
Alcdam will need to be the new Frenchman in Fire after Meitheisman's abrupt retirement. This season, however, will simply be a learning experience. Fire had both teams in the AC championship and I don't see either of them regressing.

31. (14-2) Mongolian Prairie Weasels 2 Galaxy Runner Up
Galaxy takes up the last spot once again. (Until the Juggernaut edit came though) The Weasels managed an upset against the Drinking Pete's to get here, but are far from prepared to challenge the Elite veterans. The team is young and the salary reasonable, so expect this team back in 46/47.

32. (13-3) Juggernaut Thunder Runner Up
Was a last second TD away from staying in Elite to end season 42. Better luck this season? Magpies and Yorkies as bonus games suggests luck is not on their side. Unfortunately it looks like inranger missed contracts and the roster is pretty light.

Glad you are back, once again I really enjoy your posts, but they are better when you are in Elite

Elephants are on now on thin ice. Their account is lower than ever, they have enough for this and probably two more seasons in Elite, but they don't want to go bankrupt.

So they need to figure out how to get more money per season.
One starter for sure will be gone, also one great replacement, probably one or two kids with good potential. Premium academy is off as well.

And pretty pretty pretty tough league schedule ahead of them. PR Chaser, Space Kraken, Bobbers, TigerCats, Ducks are just some of top names on their road to stay in Elite season (Blitz excluded, because they are every year on our road to glory). They hope that Bandits and Weasels will have less wins and that season 45 is a must in Elite.
But we will see. Last season gave us a boost that we didn't expected.
Let just enjoy and play game by game. Hope that 7-9 is a must .

Juggernaut is not with us for 7 days. They lost over 30 players without contract so I believe he is out for this season, hope that he will stay in a game.

Your schedule is not easy and road to the postseason might lie in beating the Blitz and repeating as division champs rather than relying on the wildcard.

But maybe just wait until I do my predictions

Tough schedule for the Ducks as well with facing again the Monarch division.

In addition to lose my OLB1, OL1, DT1, DT3, CB2 and WR3 this offseason, I just lost for 30 days my DE1 this training.

Before aiming anything else, avoid relegation will be the main target.

On a side note, I was aiming an OL at the draft. I got my second choice hoping he wasn’t capped. He was.

It is sad to see when team like Lyon Eagles is gone from the game.

As I can see he has been here from season 2, from 5th February 2012.

Hoping to defend their Championship in s44 the Tiger Cats feel they're up to the task. Losing their #1 RB, WR,TE, and OL they're confident that the newcomers can handle the job. Improvements on the bend but don't break often defense hopefully won't bending as much this season, shooting for more turnovers. On offense QB Coates has been working on his evasive skills and hopes to cut down on the sacks. So send those linebackers.

This should be quite the season we've brewed up here. I'm certain there's a couple teams that will really surprise us with success.
