The regular season has come to an end with only a few of the last games mattering. In Dragons, the Bobbers beat the Moors to continue the division title streak and Ergodicity scored the last 10 points to prevent Tampa from overtaking the Moors. While in the AC the Heroes beat the Attack Dogs to stay in Elite.
The playoff table is set, but let's see how everyone stacked up against my predictions. AC AC East Actual - Predicted Willemstad Bridges 14-2 13-3 Norfolk Heroes 7-9 8-8 Vicious Attack Dogs 7-9 8-8 Juggernaut 0-16 0-16 Pretty close here, Bridges once again look like the favorite after beating the Ticats on Tuesday. AC North TigerCats 13-3 13-3 PR Chaser 12-4 11-5 BoneCrushers 6-10 7-9 Hainaut Gamecocks 5-11 2-14 Gamecocks come on late with some spoiler action. Chase and Ticats looking to repeat last season's all-fire AC championship. AC South Peoples Republic of Yorkshire 13-3 10-6 Diorite Lions 6-10 10-6 Highland Wildcats 8-8 7-9 Saker Falcons 6-10 7-9 Yorkies put up another solid campaign while my sleeper team Wildcats did enough to hold on at the end. NC North Salt City Pirates 12-4 14-2 Home Malones 13-3 12-4 Space Kraken 11-5 9-7 Poznan Knights 2-14 2-14 Fourth season in a row the Monarchs have most wins and this time are awarded with 3 playoff teams. NC South San Diego Blitz 12-4 11-5 Dumbarajko Elephants 10-6 10-6 Bretzfeld Bandits 4-12 4-12 Mongolian Prairie Weasels 3-13 2-14 I got Dumba's record right and now he owes me Cevapi and Sarma! This one came down to the easier schedule assuming they split head to head (which they did.) Another undeserved win for the Blitz. Sorry Ravens....
Wasn't really a playoff caliber game for either team - - a total of 3 interceptions and 4 fumbles. 43 yards FG with :16 left wins it for the Blitz.
