In the 2nd half, "The Midnight Cowboy" Dusty South kind of took over, throwing for 3 TDs and putting the game out of reach. The defense played well too...only giving up 9 points. I don't know either manager more than what's in the public forums, but looking at the time gaps I'd guess it's just a natural restart after taking a leave from their original franchise and then just restarting another one once the itch struck again. I wouldn't guess either did anything specifically for an advantage besides knowing what to do as a returning manager.
Congrats on the bowl Steve! Your defense had a great postseason run. Great season PR Chaser. It sucks losing a bowl at any point and especially after a great season, but you can take great comfort in knowing you got two rounds further than Rufio's best. |
