There might be some increased activity is SD2, but SD1 lost a couple more teams. I get RiverCity Storm becoming frustrated being stuck in a division w/ Leeds Celtics and my squad, but the Texans quitting is a bit surprising. That team was holding its own despite keeping a pretty weak roster.
Some Dragons might claim its harder to become Elite in their region, but I think it is much harder on rookie teams to have to take their bumps by playing against level 1 competition right out of the gate. And those frustrations likely result in teams quitting, and the vicious cycle continues as there are not enough teams to keep SD2 viable. Unrelated, after the likely promotion of Leeds to Elite, I plan to switch divisions to try to spread the human teams out a little better Last edited on 2022-02-24 23:28:44 by ptdoc2017 |

I usually see changing division chickening out the adversity, but considering the situation in SD1, it makes sense.
