That super long thread is super cumbersome to sift through. So I thought I'd start a couple of threads for specific question types that people could post in. This one is for questions about how skills work, the effects of them, traits, and how players can be built and trained.

Ok ok....I know teamwork is indeed important for O Line and FB/TE. That being said....

There are two players in this example that both had 50 strength and say 40ish intelligence. All other applicable skills equal.

The difference is Player A has has no traits and teamwork at 44 while Player B has teamwork at 25 and has the Pass Block and Stone wall trait.

In this instance would you go player A or player B?

This is loosely based on some decision I'm pondering.

I would go for both.
Of course nobody knows the math but Pete.
In my opinion the offensive line works as a whole and every player has also importance as himself.
Let playing the tw 25 player you will have a lower avg line tw, and probably this is not a good thing.
On the contrary let play him in OT position it should not be a big issue because OT does not share his tw helping the guard because he has for sure a DE to face with. On the contrary a guard shares his tw helping the OT versus three man front defenses.

Again, it might make sense but be wrong...

Another player decision to make...

First, consider that CB and SF are equally strong among my starters. That being said which would you put the following player as, CB or SF?

18 years old.
48.4 speed red
41.1 strength red
30.6 agility no caps
25 postioning
30 tackling
31 vision
47 intelligence
37 teamwork
3.5 rated CB and 3 star rated SF at the moment
no traits

One more player decision I'm mulling over....

QB 1 here has red caps at low levels but has great traits and is 3.5 stars
QB 1

QB 2 here has no traits but not red capped at strength at such a low level as QB 1
QB 2

Both the same age and both with 50 Intelligence. So it is a matter of choosing either low red cap and 2 traits or higher red cap and no traits.

I don't mind showing these screenshots of the player page as it is my back up quarterbacks. Who would you choose as the backup? Could end up being a starter in 5 or 6 seasons.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look!

Both of them are really really really slow.

If you want an Elite QB he must be 48-50 in speed.
I made a mistake with my but managed to fet him almost to 49 with extra training.

I find it interesting...it seems like there has been a shift from the early seasons for a qb. I got a reply from someone in a message that was similar as here about the speed. Back in the day it was the strength (to get good passes). that was super important and speed not so much. Is strength still just as important? Is speed super important if you don't rush your qb?

QBs with low speed will be sacked much more, that is for sure.

For me strength at 44-45, speed at 50, intelligence from 48, 5* talent.
That is your dream QB.
And if he has traits, then he is QB+ 😀

ok now I'm confused. To be clear I'm just trying to clarify a little more and maybe this is something the great Yoda can answer? Would speed or agility be factored into evading the rush? Or is it really in combination that you need them to evade the rush?
