If I go to HR Dept - One Click Contracts I can see the amount that my players are asking for the next season. Is there any way to download that information? When I try to cut & paste into a spreadsheet it gives me meaningless lines like this:
Charley Clemens22WR97 %100 %49-7,50025,125 It would be helpful to be able to download just the wage requests rather than having to manipulate the entries as above and then cut & paste each of the 35 player requests separately. |

When you pasted, did you s e l e c t "Match Destination Format"? I don't get anything squirelly when I paste that same list in Excel either way, but I have found when I have had trouble in the past on other projects that selecting the destination format reduces errors.

Thanks for your replies, guys. I was trying to copy from a page of text in the HR Dept - Single Click Negotiations. I hadn't realised it was shown in the Players Download. Thanks to both of you.

NOOB question about franchise players. Is it possible to replace a player currently on my franchise players list - with another player?
When I had just started my team, I made a mistake of assigning the "franchise player" to any player I found resonable. Prior to reading that I can only have 5 ![]() I was hoping that the "franchise" will be freed, once that player no longer has a contract for the season. But apparently it doesn't work that way. I do have one of the original franchise players with contract that expires this season, but I see only options to either extend his contract (as a new franchise contract), or fire the guy. I'd rather not fire him, less so because of the compensation, more so - because I'd like him to stay on the team, just not as a franchise player. Also, I was hoping that may be by entering contract talk with another player with no valid contract I could assign that new player a franchise contract, but no. Is there any way to do that? EDIT: I currently got all 5 franchise players assigned. Two of them I reassigned after cancelling contracts of two players I had already let go. These I want to keep. One of the other three I don't actually mind letting go, but the problem is the last 2 on the list. Both are valuable assets for my team, probably for several seasons, but none of them is really really essential - I got at least 4 players much more valuable and I was hoping eventually I'll be able to assign 3 of those 4 as "keeper" players. If there was a franchise contract on player A active until "this season", you have several options:
1.) avoid prolongation: the player leaves your team and frees the franchise contract 2.) fire the player: the player leaves your team and frees the franchise contract 3.) prolong, but use a not franchise contract length: the player stays with your team and frees the franchise contract 4.) prolong, but use a franchise contract length: the player stays with your team and does not free the franchise contract |
