Pretty pleased with my draftee, number two on my list (Jonny snatched my top player just one pick ahead of me)

19 years old with uncapped strength (35.7 after first training), 50 speed and good intelligence (40.3). Projecting him to be a CB for now. Still have a few top 10 players available for round two, so hopeful I can get one more useful player.

In the SD2 draft we're drafting almost exclusively against bots, who choose randomly. I had the guy you took as my #2 and landed my #1 at my 31 pick. I think typically the more veteran teams will prefer more youthful players (or extremely high XP if they're a little older), but for teams like ours that have a lot of holes, these guys will be starting day one, so that's not as much of an issue.

he was also my No.1 guy, is his strength uncapped?

basically it was the price for your very late interception in the Bowlgame to get that player

however, my No.2 guy was there at 32 an uncapped strength, 49.5 Speed and 40 int long reach 18 year old so not much to complain about

Yeah, he was my top player by a decent margin, and then had a solid group of players all very close at 2-10. Sadly his STR is yellow (capped somewhere between 38-42), so not sure if that will give him enough strength to play long term at his native position or if he'll have to transition to somewhere else. 43.6 Int is just on the cusp of playing DB, but more likely he'll need to shift to WR.

Drafted a QB in round 2

INT 47.6
STR 42.8 Capped
SPE 46.3
TW 40.2
TAL 5

My current QB has

INT 49.6
STR 45 Capped
SPE 44.4 Capped
TW 37.8
TAL 4.5

Im tempted to make my drafted QB my number 1 QB, and shift my current to a new position (free until May 5th). Dont wanna waste either as a back up QB. Obviously my draftee has some QB training already whereas i hadnt really started training my current QB.

What we reckon?

i'd definitely go with the rookie

and i could see the current at TE or MLB maybe- i don't know where his non-physicals are at
