Let's start the next season thread.
I have roughly 12 players sorted in the draft, the rest looks not promising for my plans. I did decide to cut a few players, 4 are on the market right now, aim is to raise the average skill level of the other for that. Right now 6 BOTs in the league, but some will fall BOT for sure, especially the Pirates (now named Goodbye - Have fun) will fall BOT, as announced. But that will likely only happening in roughly 2-3 weeks. The rest looks right now at least not that way to fall BOT soon, but some new teams are in, of which some likely will not return. |

Well the big news is that I managed to do all my contracts for those I wanted to keep and two I let go due to excessive salary requirements. The draft, I feel, is a bit like a lottery. The players are not that great and having so few to choose from does limit one's options.
Still I'm ready for another season. Hopefully it will be better (in results) than last as we were training some newbie players. They should be starting to bear fruit this season. |

New Season and time for my predictions....
AC EAST Well who knew the Monarchs league commission finally listend to the fans and assigned teams to compete against the Aliens. The Pirahnas from the lakes of italy will have a tough time as they learn the game. The Thunder from Toronto will be a different prospect as they won last seasons Monarchs 2 and now step up to the big boys. 1 - Aliens 2 - Thunder 3 - Pirahnas AC NORTH The Oilers return from the big show and replace the Letaidans into a tough division. The Saints will make it hard for anyone this season as they look to improve. The Hooligans are looking good, but will need to imspire the players to make a impact this season. 1 - Oilers 2 - Saints 3 - Hooligans AC SOUTH This division is going to be a 2 teams shootout as the Leopards and hawks battle it out. The Leopards have the edge on experience, but the Hawks are hungry and will take no prisoners. 1 - Leopards 2 - Hawks AC WEST The Black Dragons went 16-0 last season, but bottled it in the playoffs. They will look to do better this time around. Roll Badge 2.0 were the suprise teams last season and could make it very hard for teams this season. Dan1983m improved a lot in season 46 and will be a force in the tough division 1 - Black Dragons 2 - Roll Badge 2.0 3 - Dan1983m NC EAST The Hornets and Bruisers will be fighting for top spot again and look for better luck in the playoffs. The Polish Lions will be in for a tough season in this division. The Irish Shamrocks from French Canada are looking good but a little confused on who they are. 1 - Bruisers 2 - Hornets 3 - Shamrocks 4 - Lions NC NORTH This will be divison to watch as the Goodbye have fun (Salt City Pirates) will go bot, so SARMIS and the Weekenders will battle for top spot. Sarmis have the edge and should take the division. The Weekenders will be looking to improve on last seasons 6 wins. 1 - SARMIS 2 - Weekenders 3 - Goodbye have fun (Pirates) NC SOUTH A beast of a division and this will be a real fight to find a top dog. Black Panthers missed out on the playoffs last season and will be looking for revenge. The Bulls from the land of whippets are always a tough team to beat. The Hummingbirds are also a power team and will cause anyone problems. The unlucky Hungarian Lions to be in this division will strugle to get more than 6 wins. 1 - Bulls 2 - Black Panthers 3 - Hummingbirds 4 - Lions NC WEST The Rotties will be looking to keep their top spot in this division as they continue their power football. KAFakofers are going to need improvement to take top spot. The Knights look to still be rebuilding and probably be a push over. The Coyotes had a good start to last season and could improve this season. 1 - Rotties 2 - KAFakofers 3 - Coyotes 4 - Knights This is just for fun, so enjoy and smile. |

The Knights did again not renew their contracts, so they did get a new Base-Squat-Team.
Seems the owner has right now no time to rebuild, but also doesn't want to let it go. |

He stated he is occumpied and also stated he wants to do the reboot out of his own resources, means draft and youth pull.
Since he dropped the youth pull early last season, I checked, he did stop the reboot. Don't know what his plans are, but my guess is the team idles until he has time again or abondons it forever. |

First round I got my LB prospect I needed, even it is not as strong as I would have wanted him to be, since he is capped.
But OK, he will still serve as LB. Not much hope for round 2 or 3. |

Got the #2 on my list; a 5* Talent, 21 year old QB with 50 Int and two traits. Unfortunately though his physicals were crap, even with the Track Star trait, so he's been dumped.
