Instead of writing them up I'll just say I'm picking Outlaws, Panthers, and Werewolves. I'm honestly not feeling that motivated to write these up lol. Might just take this "week" off.

Week 6
Only 2 games of note but good ones..... 4-1 Westlake @ 4-1 Steelers You would think 4-1 would put you 1st or 2nd in your division....unless you are in the AC North where Jackalopes AND Panthers are 5-0. Westlake is a Guns&Roses fan tomorrow as they face Jackalopes. Still, 4-1 is still a good position but a win is needed to keep pace in this division with the most total wins by a division. Steelers are leading their division by one game over the Dolphins (sorry about last week where Dolphins destroyed me, didn't help you there). I still think Steelers win the division but every win matters. Both teams have faced easier schedules so far with Steelers combined opponent record 7-17 and Westlake combined opponent at 11-14 (although that is skewed a little with their loss last week to 5-0 Panthers which is half the total wins of the combined opponents for Westlake). Both teams are 1-1 vs teams with winning records. Both teams have similar ratings. It might come down to play style and turnovers. Steelers like to run the ball with their #4 running attack and play defense. They can definitely air it out being in the top 10 for passing. Westlake has allowed 4 yards per carry over their last 3 games while Steelers have average more than 4 yards per carry until this last game vs Werewolves. Westlake has to shut the run game down for the best chance for a win. 5-0 Guns&Roses @ 5-0 Jackalopes An unbeaten will be no more come this time tomorrow. Last season there were some unbeaten vs unbeaten teams that on the surface looked good but one or more of those teams had unbeaten records vs lesser teams and just hadn't faced strong teams yet. This match today however looks to be a good one of unbeatens. Yes, Jackalopes have a combined opponent record of 3-22 and GR is 9-13. This makes it a little difficult to evaluate the results thus far. Looking at the quality wins GR destroyed 4-1 Lonestar and 3-1 Paladins. Ironically it is the 0-4 Pizti that is the only team to give GR problems. Yes, GR was using its full roster vs Pizti. Looking at the Ratings of the teams it favors GR by a margin. I kind of feel like Jackalopes would like to run the ball and try to control the clock. I don't know if it matters so much as GR can air it out and run the ball. I'm picking GR by 10. |
