I'm done.... This game was a rollercoaster and in the end I crushed into the ground...
This first quater was a mess on offensive side.. 3 times 3 and out for -10 yards combined.. At least my def was great enough. 2 fg and a fumble. 2 quater 2 big plays with 65yards td pass for me. 3 quater def was amazing But offense got stopped 3 times 5 Yards before fg range And the 1 time I got into range, my kicker missed a 47 yard attempt. But what happened in the 4 quater really broken me... Last minutes. 19:24 for me and gunsroses drive was insane up to the last 3 plays. 1:01 2 and goal to go on opp 8, Karl-Friedrich Schneider (QB) gets sacked by Caleb Welch 10 yards for loss 0:48 3 and goal to go on opp 18, incomplete 0:40 4 and goal to go on opp 18, 18 yard TD pass. Game over My def was amazing 7tfl, 5 sacks. 1 int and 2 force fumbles But in the end. It showed me some issues In my pb and I think this also play was so bad luck for me... Could have been m biggest upset this season... |

I am experiencing, I think, my strangest season ever
 . In 3 of my last 4 games :
- My team was losing 3:21 against Panthers at the end of the 3rd quarter, ended with a 24:21 win with a 21:0 4th quarter and a winning TD with 44 seconds left on the clock. - Losing again 13:19 against Mülheim Seahawks, and scored a winning touchdown with 23 seconds left on the clock. - Was losing 9:24 against France 2018 with 10 minutes on the clock, and finally won with a field goal within the last minute of the game. I felt I had some bad luck in the last few seasons, but those 4th quarters this season...  |

And I think I am on the opposite situation. It is not actually a bad luck but I am losing games against clearly weaker teams. I have not changed any line on playbook or did major changes on my roster. My team simply started to play awfully bad some matches.

Week 11
At halftime...there were many potential upsets but most teams got it righted after halftime. I said most, not all.... There were a few games that were close on the scoreboard but not as close if you dug deeper. Jackalopes was down 0-3 vs HD Outlaws after 25 minutes of play but then scored 2 touchdowns in the last 5 minutes of the half and then scored another touchdown halfway through the 3rd to take a 21-3 lead. After that touchdown the Jackalopes decided they didn't want to play offense anymore with the last 3 drives ending in an interception and 2 fumbles lol. That led to the Outlaws scores. Outlaws did use MOTY. I'm guessing it was to to check something statistically. Gardians had a 24-7 lead over Seahawks with less than a minute in the 3rd quarter left. They staved off the Seahawk rally to win 24-17. This game was about timing. The Seahawks turned the ball over in a bad positions and Gardians got hot at the right times to score. Statistically they were pretty matched. OTR beat Baltic 26-21. As close as the score was Baltic had the lead for just a 7 minute stretch in the 3rd quarter. It was a slopping game with both teams throwing 2 interceptions and a fumble plus a missed field goal. It seemed Baltic was playing catchup the whole time. Don't sleep on Pizti Pizti upsets Marines 24-21. In fact, I think Marines could have lost by more with Pizti missing 2 field goals. Marines were out performed in yards, points, first downs. and time of possession. Nice win Pizti! That hurts for Marines as they are now 2 games behind in the wild card instead of just one game. |

Unexpected wins taste better 
I think it's now certain that I'll be in Dragons 1 for season 48 (more with all the Bot teams it looks like there's going to be). Therefore I can focus on improving my team and playbook. |

Games from Week 12
SF Squeaks out 23-17 win over Rio Did not like how it started with a missed FG that the Atoms then drove down the field to score a touchdown. After SF failed to convert another short yardage 3rd down the Atoms drove down to take a 10-0 lead. SF got one field goal a few minutes before the half to bring the score to 10-3 Rio Atoms lead. After a halftime speech where the coach ripped the offense for its ineptitude they came out hot with a good touchdown drive to tie the game. On the ensuing drive the Atoms drove down to the 25 and got 9 yards on a 3rd and 10. SF assumed a field goal was on the way but Atoms went for it on 4th down and converted the 4th and 1 to get a fresh set of downs on the 7 yard line. Atoms went for it again on 4th and goal from the 2 yard line but got only one yard. Perhaps this play was the turning point in the game as SF then drove the length of the field in over 5 minutes of clock time to score a touchdown and take their first lead of the game 17-10. After that both teams exchanged lengthy touchdown drives to bring the score to its final. Rio was driving and got to the 30 yard line but ran out of time and downs. Guns & Roses Escapes with a 30-28 win over Paladins The first half didn't produce any long drives by either team as no drive exceeded 3:40 of clock time and only one drive was double digits in plays and that was a 10 play drive that ended with a Paladins interception. The only drive that had more than the previously mentioned 10 play 70 yard drive was a drive for 80 yards. That one was a single 80 yard touchdown pass by Paladins and represented their first half scoring. GR scored 2 field goals off of Paladins interceptions. They also had their own 47 yard touchdown drive to take a 1 point half time lead. The second half started off with GR returning the favor and throwing their own interception that Paladins turned into a touchdown to get within 1 point. The next several possessions were punts by GR and combined with field position and good punt returns the Paladins were able to put together 2 very short touchdown drives (20 yards, 48 yards) to take a lead of 28-13. I'm sure they felt comfortable with a 15 point lead and only 13 minutes left in the game with how the offenses were doing. GR answered with probably the best drive of the game that was 15 plays 81 yards and ate up over 5 minutes for a touchdown. They are now with 8 points. Next play the Paladins throw their 3rd interception and 20 yards later GR scores a touchdown to bring the score to 27-28. With a 1:53 left and Paladins holding to that 1 point lead they throw an interception on 1st and 10 from their own 49 yard line that was returned for 30 yards. Just like that GR kicks a game winning field goal. Worst time for Paladins to throw 4 interceptions....especially when they have thrown 13 all season. 11 games 9 interceptions, 1 game 4 interceptions. |

Week 13
Several close games! I bet GR is glad to not face Pizti anymore lol. Gardians keep playoff hopes alive with 27-21 victory over Eagles. Statistically the game was evenly matched and going into the 4th quarter Gardians were clinging to a 24-21 lead. Gardians are probably grateful that Eagles have a playbook error as those 6 points were the difference in the game. Twice the Eagles drove down within the 10 yard line of Gardians and punted on 4th down. Going for it is one thing but punting? I'm sure they will clean that up for the next game they play. I'm sure they are "kicking" themselves over this one. SF barely squeaks by HD Outlaws 28-27. Basically I got lucky. A missed short field goal and an interception by Outlaws was the difference. Heck just one of them was the difference. I just couldn't stop them on offense. Lonestar keeps playoff hopes alive with overtime win over Seahawks 32-26 First half was back and forth and ended tied 13-13. Lonestar had 2 interceptions that got Seahawks 10 points which is the only thing that was keeping Seahawks in the game. The numbers are a little jaw dropping: Lonestar had 42 first downs to Seahawks 20. Lonestar had 607 yards to 310 of Seahawks. Both teams combined for 22 of 33 on 3rd/4th downs. The craziest stat is Lonestar didn't punt one time. Not once! That means they scored every possession or turned it over. Lonestar averaged around 5 minutes/70 yards/13 plays a drive when they didn't turn it over or run the clock out to end a half. That is insane. Guns & Roses survives a second time vs Pizti with a 26-24 victory. I don't know why Pizti plays them so well but play them well is what they do. You know this game would be a little nuts when the 1st quarter scoring is a 22 yard fumble return by GR and an 80 yard pass by Pizti. GR had a 26-14 lead in the 4th quarter but held on after Pizti ran off 10 points. The number one reason I think Pizti hasn't beaten them yet is the ineffectual running game. Control the clock a little more could turn the tables. |

Control the clock a little more could turn the tables. I really don't know what happens to my team when they play G&R. They should beat us no problem but we competed till the end. And instead of looking at where we failed to win the game, I think I should look at what we did to be competitive against that great team. I'm working on that.  |
