Your defense is quite consistent statistically. Rated 2nd and 7th and ranked this season 2nd and 4th. Offense is a little different.

You are right. I am happy with my defensive team. I have built some great players and a new good batch is on the way. And I think it is easier to set a defensive playbook. On offense I am struggling to find a decent PB. And my OLs skills are far from those I had when I got promoted to Elite.

I kind of feel like I'll come back down to earth this season. There is no way I can stay ranked 1st and 2nd on defense and 6th and 2nd on offense. I have the 3rd easiest schedule so far this season. My opponents win percentage is 30%. I have myself going 6-3 the rest of the way.

Paladins offense can't get traction in 17-28 loss to Wolves The first half the Paladins got a touchdown drive but mostly punted the entire half. At half time the Wolves had a 14-7 lead they extended with the first drive in the the third quarter to make is 21-7. Paladins improved in the second half but a 57 yard interception return by the Wolves made a 28-7 game too much for the Paladins to come back from. Wolves have put together 3 solid wins vs good teams. They are obviously improved from a few seasons ago where all the wins were against poor teams. Paladins started last season on fire with a long win streak but this season has been up and down. Big win over Bears last week followed by big loss to the Wolves this week has summed up their season so far. Lonestar Cuffs the Brookies Offense in a 37-14 win This score could have been worse with Lonestar missing 2 field goals off of 2 interceptions of the Brookies. Alert Polar Bears Maul Marines in 38-24 win The Bears threw for over 600 yards on the Marines. In fact the Bears either had a scoring drive or an interception on all drives except for their missed field goal and a punt. Yes, they punted once. Despite each team throwing 3 interceptions each they canceled each other out. In both halves of the game one team threw an interception only for the other team to follow up with an interception off of the interception. So 4 of them meant nothing. Both teams had a TD drive off of an interception. The Marines didn't really get "mauled" but it fit with the Bear theme of the title lol. Bears rebounded from that big loss last week to get back on track with a solid win with their top ranked wage salary. Can I nickname them "The 10 Million Squad" lol? Westlake seems to be struggling with this 3 game losing streak. Not sure what is the difference from last season to this one. Pizti cracks the Quack in a 38-20 win For the first 3 quarters Pizti controlled the game by keeping the Quack to 2 field goals and the longest drive being 38 yards on 9 plays. In the 4th quarter the Quack woke up and put together 2 TD drives of 80 yards or more. That would have kept them in the game except Pizti also had two long touchdown drives. Pizti is looking solid this season as a contender for the division. The Quack have to fix that defense to improve. They have allowed 34 or more points in 4 of 6 games. The other two games they allowed 20 and 24 points. AC North Panthers Pounce on the vipers 24-6 Pounce might not be the most accurate as it was 3-3 at half time and 10-6 Panthers after 3 quarters. The 4th quarter the Vipers had 14 plays for 73 yards and an interception. If you take the interception drive out then they had 11 plays for 33 yards. On the other hand the Panthers put together two 10+ play drives for touchdowns. It just got away from the Vipers in the 4th quarter. In the end both teams still lead their division. Skid marks were on a bye this week and the other 2 teams have their writeups above. AC South Baltic Stars gore Godesberg Longhorns 34-14 Baltic controlled the game from the beginning to the end. Turigtians beat a bot team. Viper game is written above. This division is still without a .500 or above team. AC West France nearly throws it away in 30-20 win over M Dolphins By throw it away I mean the game shouldn't have been close at all except France threw 3 interceptions that netted Miami 17 of its 20 points. Statistically France doubled Miami in all offensive stats. Seahawks and Rio were on a bye and Baltic is written above. This is a tough division when your 4th place team is 4-3. It is also a diverse division with some teams more run based, passed based, stronger vs the run, stronger vs the pass. Hard to tell who will win but Seahawks have owned it for a while and the question is who from this group can stop them this year? The AC was easy to write up this week with so many byes, AC vs AC matches and and a bot match. I'll write up the NC tonight or in the morning. |

N Outlaws edge SF 28-27 All you need to know about this game is I threw 3 consecutive passes in the first quarter for interceptions that were turned into TD's for Outlaws. In fact the first 6 games of the season I had 2 interceptions combined and this game there were 4. Credit to Outlaws who did score the touchdowns on offense. My defense didn't hold them at all in that regard. I also scored a td off an interception and Outlaws missed a field goal. The 21 point deficit was too much to overcome. BTW I went from 1st seed to 5th with one loss. lol. Old Town Rooks checkmate St. Pauli 30-20 The difference in this game is the 2 turnovers by St. Pauli in the 1st quarter. An interception led to a field goal and going for it on 4th and 1 on their own 28 failed and led to an OTR TD. Otherwise it was a back and forth game. Ukies and Wolves have already been written up. NC North Eagles soar over Gardians 34-24 Both teams combined for 15 total drives. Only one turnover the whole game by both teams. Both teams played solid but someone had to win. Eagles have had a light schedule but prove they are here to stay with a solid win vs Gardians and take sole control of 1st place in the division. SF and OTR already written up. NC South HDO wins puntathon over C Dolphins 24-7 Why did I say punt-a-thon? Well there were 18 punts combined between the teams which is 3 more than the total drives in the Eagles/Gardians game. lol. HDO held Dolphins to -1 yards rushing on 14 carries. With this win the South has a division leader at .500 at 3-3. Already wrote the other Dolphins team game. NC West BPJ wipe Cheshire all over the floor in 61-16 win After that magical win last week Cheshire was brought back to earth with big loss. In typical BPJ games they had half the first downs but more big plays. Cheshire had 5 picks that were all turned into touchdowns. All 5 picks were in their own territory. In fact those 5 td drives by BPJ averaged 5 plays and 20 yards each. Werewolves on a bye and still in 1st place. All other teams have been written. |

I was really afraid during my match against the Seahawks as was being badly beaten. But after seeing that he actually played MOTY (just as I did it in the first match) I am a little bit relieved.
