Thanks. In that case the value of the old farts would even increase, since they will slowly lose skills, yes, but will cost compared much less then.

If a manager is lucky his 500K QB does decline only slightly, if any and will cost 50% after several seasons. That's a bargain I think.

please stop advertising for this change, until I finished my transfer market activities

The major goal of this change was to make these veterans more worth, and allow for a transfer market activity on those guys.

Veterans are already much more valuable than before. I am counting with this "slight decline" but this is pure gambling.

I am afraid that this "50% (cost) after several seasons" may not be true especially if the player salary calculation is not "agility driven". I mean if the agility is not one of the 2 highest skills we will not see a decline over the seasons. In other words: agility will be "limiter" for salary decline.

No, because veterans get a lower salary as default. if AGI does not lower on the hit, the salary stays at that lower level. If AGI was hit and was one of the two highest paid skills of that player, the salary lowers even more.

Ok. I have made some calculations here and if we consider no new training on non-physical skills and that agility is one of the highest skills the wage should reach half of 29 yo wage when the player is 32 yo. I have also used the "2-level decrease" for the calculations.

Just for making it clear for future questions: the "2-level decrease" happens just once, at the rollover the player reaches the age of 30. Depending on how it goes there could be further salary decreases, but this is not the way it is right now.

Sorry, this time I am the one who do not understand you. How does it apply only once? I have understood that after 30 yo the wage is calculated based on the average of the 2 highest skills minus 2 (levels). It is not cumulative but applies on every rollover.

we will see how this develops. This part depends on this seasons experience with such veterans

Yeah...I see. First you drive the Elephants out of the Elite league and now you're poaching Bogdanović! :-)
