Hello, I looked through the To-Do List and noticed that there hadn't been a suggestion yet for Run pass options. I don't know how difficult this would be to program because it seems like that would have a lot of IF function statements and LOOPS. In the NFL today, the common occurrence of run-pass options is a genuine possibility, though, if you add RPOs to the game. One should also assume that the defensive playbook or CPU needs some logic or IQ for defense against RPO plays. Ratings-based implentation could work to integrate with Quarterbacks Teammate grade as well as Vision. The "receiver also needs to factor in positioning, teammate grade, and maybe Vision. (Of course, catching too) If you need a reference of what precisely a RPO is, have a more advanced example from the QB School
I also have a more straightforward explanation by Superbowl Winning Headcoah, Doug Peterson. When they won the Super Bowl, offensive coordinator Frank Reich used and implemented the primary use case of how the Professional would run RPOs, whose history dates back to High School Football and College Football. Cons My main concern about this is it could be tough to program for the PETE and how this concept could be taken advantage of by more advanced users because of logic by the CPU and IQ. You also probably have to u p d a t e the default playbook. Last edited on 2022-10-19 16:10:47 by pete |
