Hi all,
I recently purchased a player to be on my OL, and while his skills are better than all my other linemen, his block success rate is the lowest. Is this normal until his TC goes up, or am i missing something else here? Cheers, Michael |

This happens with all players in all positions until TC is a little high, also the player must have high strength for OL. Please take into account in what position he plays: OT, OG or C and check the other teams defence, because if you play him as C and the defence plays 4-3-4, he will have +50 plays, but 0 blocks because he doens't have anybody to block. Check games against boots to see. |

Footwork is more important then vision for OL. TC is low but it will grow & then he will play better. |

Blocking rate also depends on the position he plays.
It's not the same for all OL positions. But that's not that much important, that stats, since you only need to get his TC up, by plaiyng him, and get his skills on POS, BLO, AGI and FOO up equally to have him equipped well and not too expensive. The rest then depends on your opponents, your other OLs, since they are a unit, not individuals, and your playcalling. |

Would not play a low team chemistry player in a critical game - - at least not in the starting lineup - - maybe on special teams.

No real issue or negative for a new/newer team building roster playing low TC player w better skills.
Get him on the field where you plan on using him. |
