I don't think that except maybe some extreme teams, not many will switch every season, hardly a handful.
And such a team would likely become bot fast anyhow, since obviously the team is not really interested playing the game, more in switching leagues. In reality there are a lot of different teams inside the league each season and of course severals you did play over seasons over and over again. But that basically the majority does change every season ... I don't see that happening. |

Fully agreed with the first part. Less for the second one. And there is no harrassement there. Just a choice with pros and cons, which is the basis of a management game. What makes the game great, is the rivalry you create inside your region. If switching regions is too easy, we may lose part of it. As I fear that pete's mind is already made up and that there will be no other limitation that the Elite related ones, that will be No for me. PS: I believe it would be better to ask the question, let a few days to debate, and then opening the vote, rather than voting and express our thoughts afterward. |

I tried to think of the various reasons managers might want to switch leagues when the poll first came up, aside from the aforementioned game time switch.
They may want to play different teams than what they're used to. It'll be more fun for them that way maybe. They may want to try to find an easier set of competition. But if enough managers do this, I think it will have a self-levelling effect. (unless more managers take to my next option...) They may want to play more human teams. Sure bot teams are easy wins, but they're terribly boring to play against. So I could see some leagues filling up entirely with human players if there's enough managers that want this. But then again, the second option may prevent this somewhat, as the less seasoned teams may opt out of the tougher competition this would create. (OK, so this one probably won't be a thing. I looked around and realized there aren't a huge number of bot teams in D1 anymore) Either way, if managers then get what they find is more fun, whether it be playing against more humans, or getting an easier schedule, it seems like win-win, as it makes it more fun for everyone. I could maybe see being upset about not having the same competition each year is if managers were very active socially in their league and had built relationships/rivalries that they don't want to lose. Frankly, I don't see enough of that happening here to actually be a thing, but maybe? The only other reason I could see for not wanting change is if a manager has playbooks built against specific opponents and doesn't want to go to the effort of making new ones? I dislike putting a possible grown rivalry over the managers choice to watch games live, as example. Yes, I made my mind up, already. The poll is there to get feedback and opinions. And the feedback is very clear already. |

With the new feature in place, the old "switch division per request" feature is obsolete. The new implementation allows switching divisions, or leagues, or regions. Right now we have only one league level per region, which means you can chose from switching either the division only, or region AND league. |
