Tight ends sometimes block on passing plays, at least in real life.
I propose that when a TE (using vision) sees an OLB blitz coming, he stays home to block. Or perhaps if a flanks only pass is called, he stays to block a DE. (Or if we wanted to get really particular, we could put the option of choosing whether a TE blocks or not in the playbook) |

Im sorry, but have to say it again: One of my major goals during engine development: do never allow a manager to control a single passing receiver. By allowing you to selec t if the TE is blocking or going, I would kind of ignore my goal.

fair enough. What of the option to allow the TE to choose to block a blitzing OLB under his own initiative? Then it's not stopping your stated goal.
