Wow! Pete's team played angry today! Standard settings, no preparation, no specials. I do not know why the result was that harsh. |

So, last round is coming.
Group 1 has Niceville Norsemen on top with 2 wins. Followed by Leverkusen Leopards and BobBoy Magpies, both with 1 win and 1 loss. The Norfolk Heroes have lost all game so far. Norfolk Heroes vs Niceville Norsemen Quite meaningless, eventually deciding who is #1 or #2. If the Norsemen win, they are #1, if they lose, it depends on the PD. Leverkusen Leopards vs BobBoy Magpies will decide the playoff participants. The winner will play in the playoffs, the loser not. If the winner wins big enough and the Norsemen lose, the #1 spot is possible. Group 2 has a similar setup with San Diego Blitz being perfect, H2TAGIT4Q and Alaskan Fur Traders with split results and Bretzfeld Bandits still looking for a win. Alaskan Fur Traders vs H2TAGIT4Q Also here the deciding game for the playoffs. If Peter wins, and Blitz loses, they will have the #1. If the Traders win and Blitz loses, they will be #2 likely. If Blitz wins, the winner will be #2. Bretzfeld Bandits vs San Diego Blitz Blitz can get #1 with a win, if they lose, they are #2. Beside that the game has no influence on the playoffs. Good luck to all teams. |

Bandits won on a cameback win in the 4th. Blitz do win the division with a sightly better PD. So semis will be: San Diego Blitz vs BobBoy Magpies Niceville Norsemen vs Alaskan Fur Traders The rest can party on upcoming St. Patricks day in a serious way, no game on wednesday. |

Good luck to my opponent, the Fur Traders today! Although I do hope they don’t skin me alive! Let’s go crack some heads and show these veteran managers how this game is played these days!

Ouch 1 Fumble and 4 Interceptions from my backup QB...tough one for the Blitz.
Good luck in the final BobBoy Magpies! Steve SD Blitz |

So semis will be: San Diego Blitz vs BobBoy Magpies The Blitz QB had a bad day and gave a way the 1st half. In the 3rd quarter the Magpies had a bad quarter and left some points on the board, but the Blitz had another INT and gave the Magpies another chance. In the 4th quarter it did look like the Blitz would get the comeback, but the Magpies had a very good final drive and scored for the win. jack6 wrote:
Niceville Norsemen vs Alaskan Fur Traders After a scoreless 1st quarter did the Fur Traders drew 1st blood with a good drive in the 2nd quarter. The Norsemen did answer on the next drive and then it went again back and forth with no scoring until halftime. The 3rd quarter was crucial, since the Norsemen did score a field goal after a long drive and got the ball right back after an INT by the Traders. The Norsemen then scored a TD and got a comfortable lead by that. After another Traders INt did the Norsemen even increase the scoring margin, and when they then later throw their 1st INT it was only a TD by the Traders in garbage time. So, next week the finale is: BobBoy Magpies vs Niceville Norsemen Good luck to both teams! |

So, next week the finale is: BobBoy Magpies vs Niceville Norsemen Good luck to both teams! The Magpies did start not good, did throw an INT late in the 1st quarter. But the Norsemen were unable to make points out of it, missed a field goal. Then the Magpies got the ball and scored a TD starting the 2nd quarter. The Norsemen were not able to answer, but a bit later had a good defense play and scored a safety. After that they got the ball back and scored a field goal on top. So 7:5 at the half. The 3rd quarter stayed scoreless, since the Norsemen did throw an INT when they were in the Magpies redzone. Bad luck. Starting the 4th quarter the Norsemen then took the lead by a long drive, capped by a field goal. But the Magpies were not done and made a long drive by themselves, and they scored a Touchdown. 14:8 at that point. Norsemen got the ball back and did march over the field, but were stopped at the Magpies 22 and decided to kick a field goal with about 2 min to go. 14:11. Magpies did run down the clock and won the game. Congratulation! |
