The number of PO rounds stays the same, therefore the number of PO Teams has to stay the same, as well.

We are going to play mostly against other managers (1-3 boot teams max). So that means 6-8 teams per group will advance in the KO round, depending on the best record. |

And the cut off for SC playoffs will be lower. I predict that a 9-6 record would be enough this season.

128 PO teams : 18 divisions = 7 teams per division (average) + 2 more teams So there will be for sure 9-6 teams in PO Thanks for writing the same thing I did in a different way.  |

You're assuming all of the divisions have a clear hierarchy of teams. With deeper divisions, I not so boldly predict there will be fewer 0-loss teams and a lot more 2-4 loss teams, so there's no guarantee a 9-6 team will make it. We need to see how it plays out, but I actually would be surprised if a 9-6 team qualifies

Possibly we will see a couple of 8-7 teams in the playoffs. |
