Congratulations to the Yorkies. 17/20 on 3rd down is downright absurd. I missed as many 4th downs as you missed 3rds.(not including the one you missed while running out the clock.) Your offensive line was firing on all cylinders and dominated my defensive front.

Well played yourself Rufio.
17/20 is a bit bonkers especially as 3rd downs have been
distinctly average lately.
Just glad I didn't have to rely on the kicker this time!

It's the doldrums part of the season, so since I'm bored, here's some league individual players stats with unneeded commentary.
*Most passing yards:
Meriç Ibrahim QB ChosenOnes 7,078
- Distances himself from the pack. The 4th most QB had less than 5K. Spreads the ball around though, since Chosen's top WR was only 17th in league receiving yards. Also got sacked the 2nd most, 86 times (that's 5-3/8 times per game!)
*Got sacked the most:
Vadim Ngorialuk QB Paladins 87
- The 3rd most sacked QB was only 66 times. Getting sacked that many times still got Chosen into the POs. Paladins? not so much, but at least they didn't get relegated.
*Most interceptions thrown:
Cecilio Prieto QB Lincoln Towncars 30
- Even more impressive since he didn't play 2 of the games AND was on a run-first team. On the upside, he was 7th in passing TDs, not that it helped their record get to .500 or anything.
*Most catching yards:
Mikkel Jørgensen WR CardiacJackets 2,463
- Also 1st in catching TDs with 21. Interestingly, Cardiac also had the 12th best receiver, Hubert Mast... except he's a RB
*Most rushing yards:
Armand McDermott RB BobBoy Magpies 2,279
- But wait, there's more! He bested the 2nd best RB, my own Esteban Cabrera by 525 yards, so he was way ahead of the pack. (Going to keep comparing the 2 to show how good this guy is.) He was 1st in rushing TDs with 28, (Estaban was 8th) 1st in broken tackles with 85, (Est was 3rd with 75) and only had 2 fumbles (Est with 5) AND unsurprisingly he as the leading RB when it came to MVP awards, tied for 2nd league-most with 11! This guy's a beast!!
*Most passing TDs:
Elias Fugate QB San Diego Blitz 62
- Not surprising for Steve to enter this list, except what? It's not Dusty? It's the new QB getting this stat? (Chosen's Meric was 3rd here with 54)
*Most Def TDs:
- 3 players tied with 3 here, nothing unusual, except 2 of them came from the same team:
Arnold Roelink CB Paris Guardians
Kerry Moe CB Paris Guardians
Alfonzo Schott CB Deflators
*Most sacks:
1 - Franz Mišiak LB Space Kraken 26
2 - Randolph Tisdale LB Space Kraken 24
- The top 2 guys both from the Krak. Oh, and did I mention Franz was the #1 rated LB in Elite each of the past 2 seasons? (probably for this one too.) On the bright side for the rest of the league, both those guys are retiring this year.
*Most tackles:
Yannick Robert LB Kalapana Wild Thangs 286
- way out ahead of the 2nd place guy with 230
*Most TFLs: (no, that's not Tickling Flatulent Llamas)
Earl Livingston DL Fargo Knights 41
- not much to say here, just an impressive number.
*Most pancakes: (make mine with berries please!)
Nathaniel Dillon OL Peoples Republic of Yorkshire 364
- maybe a bit biased here, but the best stat here is that the #2&3 guys both came from the same team:
Ricard Ripoll OL Lincoln Towncars 345
Hatari Obi OL Lincoln Towncars 339
*Most interceptions:
Alfonzo Schott CB Deflators 11
- don't throw to your primary receiver against this guy!
*Most fumbles:
Shad Angiolini RB H2TAGIT4Q 7
- Run or do not run. There is no try.
*Most fumbles forced:
a lot of players with 3 each, nothing to see here, move along
*Most fumbles recovered:
same answer as above... these aren't the droids you're looking for
*most Field Goals:
1 - Tyler Yount K Air Force Falcons 47
2 - Miika Mäkeläinen K Deflators 41
- Ok, both these guys are from the same division, which is weird, but how effective is kicking that many FGs? just enough to have a .500 team but stay in Elite
*Most MVP awards:
Elliot Meunier QB Sydney Sea Eagles 13
- no surprise here, so here's some notables:
The defensive player with the most MVPs:
Yannick Robert LB Kalapana Wild Thangs 11
The kicker with the most:
Arnaud Lavergne K Paladins 6
(That's the second questionable mention the Paladins have earned on this little post, but at least they're staying in Elite and I'm not, so :thumb

Hope you've enjoyed this little diversion, and if you didn't, my name is lallen73

Thanks for rubbing it in. I've had the best team in the game for the last 4 seasons and 8 retirements his season is going to end that streak.

A triple trait and double trait receivers, best RB in the game, 2 OL, the above two double and single traited LBs plus another LB who had 21 sacks. All who accounted for 230 all-star games. The Irish Oilers will be atop Monarchs again next season. It was a fun run while it lasted.
