GMP is trying to be the first team to reach the Elite from two different regions. But I think that it will not be easy. The Ukies and almost all the NC North are also in the battle for the promotion.

What the hell is going on with my Quarterback? He picked up right where he left off last season and threw the ball three times to the opponents defenders while failing to connect with the receivers twice in Goalline-Situations, turning the ball over 5 times overall.
And the Defensive Coordinator was reminded to u p d a t e the Playbook, still defending with 4-3-4 in situations that call for a tighter defense 
Nice one, too, that I just read: 10:17 1 and 10 to go on own 35, Randell Coombs (OC Viper) snaps the ball to Pierre Pence (QB Viper), hands off to Borja Palacios (FB/R Viper), this seems to be a run over the left end, Beniaminio Apulu (DE/L, HSL) breaks through, and gets tackled by Lazar Ognyanov (SS/C, HSL), forward progress: 7 yards (Shotgun 4 WR vs. 3-3-5) Of course the opposing Running Back can make yards when my Strong Safety tackles my Defensive End  Last edited on 2023-06-04 10:37:11 by Chrill |

The engine can write things in a strange way sometimes. I am quite sure that your SS have not tackled your DE.  |

But I must gather points in the first half of the season. The SEA LIONS only play conference-opponents in the second half of the season, so there'll be a lot going on for playoff seeding. A nice cushion before the bye-week will be well welcomed  |

What a game. Just when you think it's time to move on from the older QB to let the young gun go he turns in a MVP-performance against one of the best teams in the league. It was a close one, and when we failed to convert 4th Down on the opponents 1 early in Q4 I already saw this match lost since the Packers would have had an 8-point-lead if they'd scored a TD. But the Defense stopped them on our own 16, forcing a FG... and the Offense marched down the field with 5 Minutes remaining, scoring the winning TD with mere 26 Seconds on the clock. Awesome. Somehow my squad always shows their best behavior against the Packers

Gardians @ Brookfield Ukies was another close one, with the Ukies turning a 14-Point-Deficit to a win by scoring a Touchdown with only 14 seconds to go in the 4th Quarter

This has been a very nerve-wrecking, rocky and lucky start for us. One win in OT, then wins by 2, 3 and 2 points correspondingly with some unlikely last minute comebacks (TD with 14 seconds left, safety with 20 seconds left). This could have easily been a 0-4 instead of 4-0. No freebies in this league lol. |
