Sorry to jump the gun a bit but given no one ever started a season 52 thread, I doubt I’m stepping on anyone’s toes.
Just wanted to drop in and say hello to the great Thunder region and let you all know I’m hoping to relocate here next season. Good luck to everyone and looking forward to a new set of teams to lock horns with.  |

Hello! Welcome in Thunder League. I am back here, in exactly the same division, after one unsuccessful season in Elite. I'm glad the season begins to play against old opponents and newcomers.

Welcome ptdoc2017 and welcome back Uaschitschun.
Just to say the Season 53 will be my 50th and final full season in this game. I have had much fun and remained loyal to Thunder, except for one season in Elite, since I joined with my original team, which was this teams name, part way through season 2. 10 years and 8 months enjoyment with only 5 losing seasons including the one in the elite throughout, but this final season already looking to be my worse as I forsee my first ever losing season in the Supercup and even in the league I could be pushing it to be lucky enough to even out the season. I would like to thank Pete and all the guys I have known over the years for the camaradarie and friendship during that time, but after this season I have to call it a day and start to enjoy my retirement in other ways. You know we mean business when we show up to Season 53 without a kicker or a punter. We ain't goin' for 3 and we sure as hell aren't giving the ball back on purpose! Can I get an amen, brothers?!? Like any good church, I don't ask you for your well wishes and thoughts and nice comments!!
I want your MONEY!! Give me an amen and let the Lord bless you when you show him love with your wallets! Tell Jesus and the Holy Spirit you love them 50 million times! Put it right there in the media center, and when you hit the button, let em hear ya say "hallelujah!" HALLELUJAH!!! Saint Peter will be holding the gates open for you, soon as you do. If you don't, you're going to Hell. Amen brothers!

You'll be missed, Bovakian, and that's an impressive run...I'm like only half way there.
Good job Thunder in getting 86% contributions to the Media Center, among the highest contribution of all regions! Games begin Saturday, so good luck to all and looking forward to getting the team back on the digital field. |

Good games everyone Saturday. For me an interesting game against Titans, the team I played the most. A good division rivalry to start!

GG LMajor7 and the RC Frogs. I think a team of my salary level and Overall Percentage, in comparison to yours, should have fared better. This either speaks to your gameplanning prowess, or my ill advised idea to go without a kicker/punter this season. The Oline is also poor and that showed up when there was only bacon for breakfast, no pancakes. Our running game also suffered. It's a win against a good team, but I don't think it bodes well for our future.

Good luck everyone in Supercup. I start with an away game against a strong elite team, and my 1st QB injured, I don't expect a lot. |

But it's an O-lineman doing the punting. If we can tie or win with a field goal at the end of the game, we will kick with a diff O-lineman. Just experimenting. A couple seasons ago we had the 2nd best kicker in the world, and I felt like he still missed enough that it hurt our team at key moments. As if he was choking. It drove me nuts. I'm rebelling against the system now, lol. But no doubt, the football simulation complex will squash me in short order. We will see. Good luck today! |
