The Michigan Weasel Traders today file an official protest as to the playoff seeding in Sea Devils 1 NC conference. We affirm that The Weasels should rightfully be the final Wildcard seed having the same record and having beaten the #6 seeded team in a regular season match. (We hold the Current #6 seed harmless in this matter.)
In addition to the official Sea Devils League protest, The Weasel Traders are in the process of filing a civil lawsuit for damages in RZA World Court. The Weasel Traders will show that this Head 2 Head problem is a known flaw and that the Weasel Traders have/will suffer significant financial damage as a result. The club asks any sympathetic lawyer or want to be lawyer file a brief with the RZA World Court. Weasel Trader Fans! (WTF!), the official fan club of the Weasel Traders have shown their full support and have pushed for more. "WTF! WTF! WTF! WTF!" chants echo throughout the land. More updates to follow....... |

The St Pauli Packers join the protest as co-plaintiffs. Although we won the direct comparison against our city rivals, we only finished third in the most competitive SD1 division. This time it has no impact on the playoffs, but it could have.

I'm not saying that his subject has been discussed in the past because i don't know, but perhaps the engine will have to be updated in someway to take this game vs game result into consideration.
I will give a little help about the rules in the NFL and if Pete would like he can move this thread into the Discussion Forum. Two Clubs 1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs). 2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. 3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. 4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. 5. Strength of victory in all games. 6. Strength of schedule in all games 7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed in all games. 8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed in all games. 9. Best net points in common games. 10. Best net points in all games. 11. Best net touchdowns in all games. 12. Coin toss Now i would say that this seem a lot to put inside a engine in my opinion, or perhaps not all of them, but at least a few. And since we are on the subject considering the number of team in RZA at this moment, i would once again ask Pete, if he would like to have a #7 seed team in each conference because it will make more manager happy. We can vote on both of the topics if Pete would like. |

It is abundantly clear that PD is a horrible tie breaker for League play. Pick almost anything else.
H2H needs to be the PRIMARY tie breaker for all league play. That's the point of league play. We beat each other up and come out with a Victor 
It is very difficult for me to express how deeply I am bothered by this. Bothered in a "die on my sword" kind of way. The Weasel Traders will always keep it classy, but we are highly motivated on this one. I hope to convince all of you too support our suit filed earlier today with the league. WTF! |

Weasel Trader Fans Take Over Stadium Overnight The Home of the Michigan Weasel Traders, La Casa Grande, was swarmed by well over 200,000 Weasel Traders Fans (WTF!). Chants of WTF!, WTF! echoed throughout the night and into this morning. WTF! seems to be having a great time singing songs and carrying signs, mostly saying "Hooray for our side." WTF! is now trying to raise the banner in the stadium. This has proven more difficult than WTF! leaders hoped as the banner appears to have been made with Macaroni, pocket lint and chewing gum. Michigan Governor Declares Tuesday, October 24th Michigan Weasel Traders Day!
All state offices will close for the day so that celebrations of the Weasel Traders first wildcard can continue. The Governor also declared that all bars, restaurants and Weed dispensaries stay open 24/7 to continue to support the celebrations.
