It's the last game day of the Regular Season 78, and it's one with nearly no consequences for the HAMBURG SEA LIONS. We avoided relegation a few game days ago, and have no chance for a postseason appearance after the last game against the Bobbers.
Overall only two divisions are still open in terms of teams that will return next season, with two teams even fighting for one last spot in the playoffs: In the AC East the Delators and the Paris Guardians fight for second place, and the latter would have to win their last home game of the season by more than 20 points to jump the visiting team. If they succeed they'd even join the other 5 teams that advance to the postseason. In the AC North the Glastonbury Grail Knights have a long distance duel with the Niceville Norsemen to stay another season in the Elite league. The Norsemen play against the Idaho Idlers who have to win this one to not be the only 0–16 team this season. The Grail Knights play the reigning SuperBowl Champion TigerCats.
