Today The Weasel Traders beat Division rival Chicago Cubs (49-14). The Weasels look forward to our next game.
A line in the Weasel playbook was triggered in the 4th Quarter. I believe it has been there from the beginning. I love the concept of it. Up by 20+in Q4, run from this formation. You are grounding the offense and being respectful of your opponent. The game is not in doubt. Run the clock. 
The problem is twofold. The first is Coaches Karma. Seems weird to get dinged for sporstmanship. But right now CK isn't in effect. Soooooooo. I guess I don't care......now. The second (as I may have mentioned before) is the tie breaker format. Showing some sportsmanship and not running up the score should not be encouraged. The WTFans would never stand for winning by 60 points. I tried to discuss this in a whimsical manner in the WTF campaign. It failed. Last edited on 2023-11-18 20:36:10 by Stabler12 |

This is a great concept of course and it's better than throwing passes and getting intercepted, but rushing with it from the start of the the 4th quarter in this case you will perhaps lose some PD down the line.
