Weather Forecast Wildcard Round:
Constanta Ravens - Aratana Hajimari Fuyu (Bautzen, GER) Temp: 74* F Rain: 0% Wind: 15 mph Perfect weather for a perfect game. Ravens win with 7+ Devon Warriors - Constanta Sailors Tomis Center (Constanta, ROM) Temp: 62* F Rain: 1% Wind: 4 mph No Wind, so the Warriors win with a 50+ yards FG in the last drive. Hamburg Baltic Dogs - Svalbard Saints Santa Croce (Svalbard, NOR) Temp: 3* F Snow: 80% Wind: 3 mph This! Is! Cold! I know the weather in Hamburg the last days and this is too cold. Saints win with their homeweather-advantage Kamloops Mad Dogs - Michigan Weasel Traders La Casa Grande (Gaylord, USA) Temp: 55* F Rain: 68% Wind: 0 mph It's a rainy day in Michigan. Avoiding interceptions we will see many rushes and only some short passes. I cannot say who wins this game, but it's in overtime. |

The difference in the game was made by those 3 INTs they thrown all of them picked up by my CBs. The more interesting question is why he used his back-up QB, instead of Bassam Abdel and the defense didn't played well. My team on the other hand had a great game on all 3 sides of the ball so to them. So, good game Damion, even if the score doesn't represent that and we are 2-2 in the playoff clasic. I still can't figure out how the Sailors managed to defeat Devon 3 times this season with that team, i just can't. The Baltic Dogs were favorites and it was a little shoker. And i was a little surprised about Kamloops Mad Dogs, but they had a great game. Last edited on 2024-04-09 17:50:37 by Radu91 |

DIVISIONAL PLAYOFFS
Im going early with this as ive got an hour to burn sat in a bar with a pint whilst waiting for my connection. Im gutted i wasnt able to keep up with my predictions. I usually do them when im sat right here but my laptop has been on the blink so had to leave it. ANYWAY... SAILORS @ VAMOSAHI RAVENS @ RUNNERS SAINTS @ TIGERS KAMLOOP @ HAWKS Constanta Sailors @ Vamosahi The Constanta derby for the right to play in the Elite League is a real possibility and would be my 'preferred scenario'. Unfortunately i cant see it coming to fruition. For the Sailors and Vamosahi this will be the 5th Meeting between these two sides. The Sailors overall team ability sits at just 63.4% - they've done a fantastic job this season but come up against the Spanish Giants Vamosahi. Previous Meetings have Vamosahi leading 3-1. In Season 53 the Sailors ran out 38-28 in the Wildcard Round playing at home, after losing narrowly in the league 35-34, also at home, where the Sailors seem to be almost unbeatable. Vamosahi demolished the Sailors in Spain in Season 50 69-13 in the Super Cup and you have to go all the way back to Season 28 and 2017 for the 4th and final meeting between these two, a 34-0 victory for Vamosahi. The OVR difference is 15 points between these two sides. The ELO difference is almost 200 in favour of Vamosahi. With homefield advantage also i cant look past the Spanish outfit for the win. Had the Sailors been playing at home id have predicted them to win. Vamosahi by 10 Constanta Ravens @ Social Distance Runners Radu and Buz renew their rivalry as two of the very best teams in the Sea Devils. The Ravens have never beaten Buzis Runners, losing earlier this season 34-17, adding to their previous SuperCup victory in Season 50. With Homefield advantage im predicting a Runners victory - but it could be a close one. Runners by 3 Kamloop Mad Dogs @ Stone Mountain Hawks 2 The Mad Dogs have had a great season but travel to NC South rivals and Number 1 Seed Stone Mountain Hawks in the Divisional Playoffs. It looks like a mammoth task for Blitz, and the 2 previous meetings this season would also suggest that. The Hawks beating The Mad Dogs twice this season 34-21 in Canada and 57-21 at home. The Dogs have shown they can score against the Hawks - can they find a way to stop the offence. In truth, youd be crazy to bet against Stone Mountain Hawks by 10+ Svalbard Saints @ Glasgow Tigers Glasgow Tigers are the only side to beat The Stone Mountain Hawks this season, and it would be difficult to predict that they wont ace each other once again in the Conference Championship. The Saints had a fantastic WildCard victory over the Baltic Dogs to cap off a great season. The Tigers however are likely to be one step too far, for this season at least. There are no previous meetings between these two, and along with Homefield advantage, Glasgow have almost a 20 point OVR Rating advantage over The Saints. Their ELO is over 400 points better. Glasgow Tigers have been there and done it, The Saints are on the up - and im sure their will be more battles between these two in the future... But for now, this will be a heavy win for The Tigers Glasgow by 21 Last edited on 2024-04-09 17:42:22 by butchpt6 |

I bought This new QB for this Game, i wanted a faster QB , but maybe the Low tc was a Point too. For His First Game it was good for me. He will be my Future. See you in 2 or 3 seasons again good luck down the Road and now Finish it |

Only 2 undefeated teams left and here are the TOP 3 surprises of week 8. 1. Vancouver Corsairs vs Svalbard Saints : 17:32 2. Stone Mountain Hawks 2 vs Social Distance Runners : 21:10 3. - Don't underestimate the Saints. They know exactly how this game works, even if the roster isn't yet at an elite level. |

I honestly considered you made a depth chart mistake. This explains the 3 INTs mostly, but he did play a solid game so good luck with him. Hope he pays off. I will sure try and see how it goes. |

In all its great that we are getting these shocks. For me the game works properly. I know Pete gets a lot of stick when a lower AVR team beats a higher AVR team, but if the lower team gets their tactics right etc etc they should always stand a chance.
The Saints have shown this. The Sailors have shown this. Tactically i am RUBBISH which is why i rarely with my low rated team beat a much higher rated team. Although it does happen (my biggest ever win was against Kanars Ducks in the SuperCup a few years back - unfortunately i worry i set him off on the road to leaving) |

Moin
We won against the Dragons. We won against Fire. What about next Season? Do we want to challenge an other region? How many regions? Maybe two challenges were too much for a single season. Not two single fridays in diffrent months, but two Fridays in a row? No challenge this season? Who? I started as a dragon, so I asked them first. After this fire challenged us. Maybe they want revenge... Does anyone perhaps have contacts in another region? I don't even know who to write to to ask a region. Modus? I think just one friday per challenge with lower OVR at home is the best. I'm open to everything, but I need to know what the Sea Devils want. |
