Ted Finley Tennessee Sports Network (TSN) Highlights from the post-game press conference between the visiting Chattanooga Express and the home team Tennessee Frontiersmen: Head coach from the Express said I think our performance here at the Frontier Bowl showed that there are two top tier teams in Tennessee and the Frontiersmen have been served notice if we faceoff in the playoffs. QB Kurt Kurtz for the Frontiersmen took full responsibility for the team loss today. stating his daughter was distraught over the bunny she had just received that weekend got out of its pen and was lost. That his head was just not in the game and that he had lost his contacts. Head Coach Alex Kyle quickly chimed in that it was a great game and the Express put on a defensive clinic and wished them all the best in the playoffs.

One week left! And the last wildcard spot is still (kinda) contested in each conference. In the AC, it's the Wookies or the Reapers. The Wookies can keep it if they can figure out beating the Chompers. The Chompers are listed as 22-point favorites. Otherwise that last PO spot will likely go to the Reapers, whose last game is against Schonspieler, whom they're favored to beat by 72 points. In the NC, Chattanooga currently holds the tie-breaker over neroverde, but more importantly has the easier game. They're favored to win by 35 over the Fishermen, whereas Neroverde are 5-point underdogs to the Chargers. So it seems like we can pencil in the Reapers and the Express as the likely lucky last teams in, but who knows? Maybe someone will pull off a big upset! In other news, I count 13 Fire members in the Supercup Playoffs, not including those in Elite. Good luck to all of us! Hey, if luck is how the Reapers pop their proverbial playoff cherry, we'll take it. We'll be getting knocked out of the first round of the supercup playoffs as we are a very heavy underdog in our first match. But after a rough start, just as last season, Reapers making a late push to try and squeeze into the back door of the playoffs. This year, I think we'll pull it off. At least get a taste of playoff defeat, that is. lol |

Congratz to Mustangs winning the first SC playoff game of the season! Now watching Copenhagen take on the Air Force, not an easy matchup, but so far doing well!

We had an exciting round of SC playoff home games! Several close matches.
Congratz to Panthers for winning in overtime! Glad Roma got a late TD to win their game. IONS was dominant in their win, as was Chattanooga. Reapers drew a match against an Elite team, and kept the game close, just losing in the last quarter. The Idlers barely held on to win, having to make a 4th down stop with 2 minutes left after giving up a late fumble. Overall, so far Fire is 6-3 in SC playoffs!! Next up is Cardiac. Give 'em 'ell Jackets! |

Congratulations to everyone! I don't think I am going get past Jäger. I would love to go another round, but it doesn't seem likely. Best of luck to the rest!

The Jackets handled business! Congrats! And so did Fargo Knights, who's still a Fire member. Now we're 8-3, with TigerCats currently up. |
