I can't promise to publish the picks just after the deadline. Sometimes I'll be busy and can't do it. But I'll see if there is a way to automatically publish the picks. I can only describe my feelings when I had the sheet online. The 1st time it was 'oh my god', the 2nd time already 'Oh really? Must I?' and the 3rd time basically 'No way ...' I'm not blaming you, it's a clever way to put in the picks and it saves you a lot of trouble to put it into the scoring sheet, as I had to do it with my pick game for the playoffs. But it is as it is .... And of course the real live is 1st priority, also no blaming here. My wish would be, but to towards you, more towards Peter, to have such mechanics INSIDE RZA and it's fed from the database and stores the picks and so on also there. Maybe with credits or whatever. I love the effort some managers put into the game as extra, but it also shows that some stuff could be enhanced to make the game expierence better. |

Week 5 results:

Also Olband is #1 overall: 56 points and 5 points ahead of #2 (Maynard - TOOL). VenoM joined the Pick'em and did very well in his first week: 11 points 
The rest of us GMs were far behind 
All but Maynard (TOOL) predicted a Deflators loss to Saker Falcons. And it didn't happen. Point for Maynard and Deflators! |

I had a thought about 'rewards' for the pickem. Instead of only awarding whoever gets the most overall points, also some recognition for who gets the most individual week best scores. It might be the same manager the wins, but it at least gives a chance to someone who misses one week of picks to still have a chance at being cool.

I think the problem is that there is no prize other than the mention in this thread and some Guinness  
I always mention the winner of the week and the overall leader. And some games where there is a surprising result that none has predicted. But your suggestion has given me an idea: I'm going to add a column showing how many weeks each GM has been "the winner of the week" |

Popopotamo is the first. No one predicted three wins: - Melittlemenon thepitchhitchin's win over Sydney Sea Eagles. - Prairie Dogs' over Kraken. - ChosenOnes over Sea Lions. Overall, Olband still leads: 66 hits. Looks like someone from outside Elite knows the league better than the insiders

My team is barely a playoff team after my crushing retirements and stupidly questionable moves by other teams overpaying for replacements. Plus my morale was at 85% after the Yorkies smoked me. I probably had a 10% shot to win this game and was absolutely the underdog. There was nothing surprising about me getting mashed by a superior team that's well managed. |
