I guess, I have an idea ...
2024-04-18 06:58:39 - The challenge for 2024-04-20 12:00:00 was accepted by Konjarnik HighTowers 2024-04-18 06:58:39 - The challenge for 2024-04-20 12:00:00 was accepted by HAMBURG SEA LIONS And with it a gazillion "Challenge cancelled for Team XY". it happens, becaue you create quite a bunch of challenges, and when one manager accepts, the game has to walk through all those other challenges to refuse / withdraw them. This consumes time ... Last edited on 2024-04-18 07:54:52 by pete |

Sure, I always send lot of challenges, but it never did two at the same time until this week, two times in a row. Sorry for creating this mess.

it is not your fault, for sure. It was more kind of an "post mortem".. and the time you chalelnge for does not play any role, only the number of open challenges for that gameday

I don't know what type of database is used. Possible solution would be: as soon as someone accepts, lock the relevant records. Sending all cancel emails and then implementing the cancel in the database.

A temporary fix, i presume simpler, could be to limit the number of invitations. I usually send 20 and I was never lucky to get 2

This way, I have "closed" transactions before processing the next one. |

I would like to go for another way to fix this, finally. At least I have knowledge what is going on now, and can simulate the stuff more easily. |

Temporary solutions have one but big downside - they show strange tendency to become permanent . |
