Meh, and I hate to lose but don't want to step down from the amazing competition we have in fire. I figure, find out where you're at by doing your best, working on your roster, and if I suck, I get a good draft pick. No biggie. lol
Speaking of draft picks.. Round 1, pick 19: Willis Hunter, formerly Naasir Miturski 21 year old 5 star talent 50 speed Sure Tackler trait. Average TW and INT, but he's already a 3.5 star player so development should still come along fast enough. I plan on cutting 4 of my 6 CB's next offseason, so he will slide into my CB2 position as a starter next year. This season, he'll be a depth piece while training. Not a bad pickup on the back half of the draft round. There was a 3 star RB I wanted, but guess someone scouted him and took him earlier in the draft. Kudos to whoever that was, he's a project, but should be a hell of a back one day. |

Round 2, pick 51
B.J. Sturn (formerly Avinesh Moala) 5 star CB 20 years old 50 speed Long Reach trait. Looks like the secondary for next season is pretty much set now. Wasn't looking for 2 CBs in this draft, but I got two young guys who should have very productive careers. Last edited on 2024-05-02 03:47:23 by Bleakardor |

I’ve not done as bad as I thought I would in the draft. I have picked up a couple of nice prospects. Had to change the position of the first rounder and the second rounder is a gamble since his physicals are not maxed out yet, but both are solid prospects. Best draft I have had in a few seasons!

SF Simon Boldewijn (Now Clemente Stoddard) has Track Star but his speed is red-capped at 45.3. Even with the bonus he's easily the slowest player in my secondary. The early hope is that his strength is decent and maybe he could be a servicable player. |

I have had 3 star talent without elite STR, SPD or AGL outperform my 50 STR, 50 SPD, 50 INT 5 star talents on a regular basis. Maybe you can switch his position too. Hopefully he is not a total loss, but that definitely happens sometimes. Good luck with his development. |

Heck with his 17.8 block, 15.6 catch and 42TW I wouldn't even rule out TE. |

Looks like Tennessee went 1 for three in the draft. Pick number 3 Harithik Vish WR not terrible but nothing special and with the receivers we already have e will probably end up on the trading block.
