Welp, this draft is my "wait and see" crop.
My first pick is a speedy CB and the only player I'm certainly keeping. My second pick is a young DL who's too weak to play the position, in my opinion. Maybe he'll be a decent LB, but it's too early to tell. My final pick is a possession WR with two traits. He's slow, but he may develop into a good tight end. |

With 11 bots we are more or less near the median among the 1st leagues. The worst is 15, the majority fall in the 9-12 range.
One striking exception is Fire 1 - one bot  . My feeling is that competitive new managers prefer picking more competitive leagues. Plus, they are less likely to expect to dominate the competition in their first season in RZA, so they are less likely to go bot without really trying.

That's likely not true, at least not for all new managers. Why? Because for a very long time Dragons were the most packed region and they lost that status, when I don't know. I think it is still valid that you get a bonus in money, if you s e l e c t a not so crowded region. Why now Fire is so crowded, I don't know, but several teams went from other regions TO Fire in week 1, so maybe the some veteran players feel like you said and the new once do join more often the other regions. |

I think I’ll finish about 14-2 maybe 15-1. I have three tough games left vs Miners, Panthers, and Leopards. I will lose at least one and maybe 2. Never played the Miners so not sure how that goes. Have had some success with Panthers, never beaten Leopards.

That happened over the course of the past two seasons, when the Mülheim Boys both were away for a couple of weeks, just to start anew again, and mainstays like sfniner or Jäger changed to different regions and others like the Nottingham Outlaws left the game entirely. When the SEA LIONS changed to Dragons from Admirals, the latter was a league with a lot of bots. Now it's one of the leagues with fewer bots than most again. Seems to me it's happening in waves... |
