Great! Another instance of time wasted to formulate a defensive gameplan that in the end has absolutely no effect

Almost won in the 4th quarter after missing the other 3 ... Glad I did not ... so thanks for that late interception, Nextsheva

A nice victory for us in a divisional confrontation, we needed it. And Tuesday, for the first time in Elite I will play against a fellow countryman

A couple of fumble recoveries before didn't hurt either. Better luck against other teams! |

Several good matchups coming this week to a stadium near you:
Sydney Sea Eagles @ BobBoy Magpies - even - both teams are in tight division and playoff races. Stone Mountain Hawks 2 @ Black Dragons - Hawks by 5 - almost a must-win for the Hawks to keep hopes of staying in Elite, and both teams vying for a possible wildcard berth. H2TAGIT4Q @ mystics - mystics by 10 - both teams in the same boat as the Hawks, trying to keep 'staying alive, staying alive'. Melittlemenon thepitchhitchin @ Sunrise City Prarie Dogs - Prarie Dogs by 10 - the little men in that tight divisional race with BobBoy, and the doggies? Well, they're trying to keep playoff homefield advantage. Mustangs @ KMN Mandalorians - Mandos by 14 - both teams are the cream of their division, but one team is definitely creamier than the other. San Diego Blitz @ People Republic of Yorkshire - Yorkies by 6 - two slightly above average teams, both playing for playoff seeding. Space Kraken @ Social Distance Runners - Kraken by 1 - both teams are 8-2, but SDR has a lot tougher divisional race to worry about. |

I'd like to think it will be close against the Prairie Dogs but I have no confidence in that at all.

I still have mine, hmmm...
Your "slightly above average" team may be held up at the airport getting your silly amount of div. trophies through security!! Don't be late, we will start without you. |

Not all too surprised that the game between the Bobbers and us is not mentioned as overly attractive, but it's an important one for us nonetheless. The loss against the Air Force Falcons still hurts and very likely will until the very end of the season. But today we have to gather what's in us to not let this loss become the start for an entire series of losses. We're only one game behind and have a slightly better PD than the Brookfield Ukies in front of us, so we're still in the race to stay in the league.
Today marks the start to a 3-game-stretch we play at home. Two of these games are against opponents from our division, and those are crucial. But we have every reason to be cautious having the Bobbers today. We may have won every home encounter we had with them since we joined the Elite, but every stretch is meant to come to an end someday. And we have not been quite successful at home this season, so we may be dependent on a good amount of luck today, too. Have a good game, everyone |
