Well, it's back to back OT wins with similar storylines: good start, multi-TD lead till the 4th quarter, then opponent's come back and missed FG in the OT before the winning TD. We could have easily been 0-4 at this point, instead it's 3-1 and things are looking good.

3-1 for us. We began the game perfectly but once again 4th quarter was difficult. But only victory matters, and that's my best start in Elite

The HAMBURG SEA LIONS are enjoying their bye-week today, although looking at the standings has little to do with joy these days. And the assessment of the 5 games we played so far feels more like an assassination:
1–4 is our record as of now, in large parts thanks to having the worst pass defense in the league. Which is a problem we had since the very beginning of our tenure in the Elite, but were somehow able to compensate in past seasons. At least in the early stages of a season, and it usually fell apart on the back-end. This time there is nothing to fall apart to begin with. Now there still is a chance to be 4–4 after having played the first half of the season, yes, but winning all three upcoming games against the Brookfield Ukies (3–1), the Dumbarajko Elephants (2–2) and the Space Kraken (4–0) does not seem very likely to me. So as long as no small miracles happen in these games it sure feels like our time in this fine league is coming to an end
