It usually takes a few seasons to be really competitive. You lucked out and came to a league with some awesome young coaches, Reapers and Salopian Flame come direct to mind, but there are others. Hi all. Just thought I'd pop in and say hello as it's my first season in Fire league (first two were in Monarchs). Bleakardor of Reapers manager fame, who I know from a different game, convinced me to come across. I think the man might just want a few extra easy W's 🙂.

And in my years watching the Texans, specifically under Bill O'Brien, trying to mimic "the Patriot way" I've learned one very important thing from the Patriots... if you ain't cheating, you ain't trying.  
Nah, Billy is a good dude from the down under. We've played a MMA sim for a few years together and he was one of only two takers when I mentioned I was playing this. The other didn't make it very far, but Billy thrived. He's about a season ahead of me as far as team development from where I was on season 3. So I expect him to compete here in Fire very soon. Oh, and he just happens to be one of 2 managers that basically lives in the #1 spot in the other game. I bet within a few seasons, he's knocking on Elite's door. And FYI, one of 2 reasons I moved from the AC to the NC was so I was less likely to play you. I'll just beat you in friendlies.  But the main reason was because the Elite guy that dropped down into my division's team was just too far ahead of mine to play twice a season. lol That's where my real creativity came in.  |
