It's Game Day 7 already in the Elite league Season 59.
We have to visit the TigerCats today. That'll be a tough game to play. Scouting yesterday showed an unbelievably diverse scheme on the defensive side of the ball, which will be hard to crack. And we're still marveling about what to make of the fact that there does not seem to be one specific line-up for the trenches on offense or defense... bears changing the personell on a regular basis a chance to avoid them becoming too content, and as a consequence sloppy, with their game? We're curious what will happen today. Our game will be one of two games between teams from our division and the AC North. The second one will be played at the Black Beasts, who welcome the Misery from Missouri as their guests. Both teams are 2–4, and one of those wins for each was against us 
The other two games played today are match-ups between the NC West and the NC East, with the Bobbers getting visited by the Stone Mountain Hawks 2 and the Ukies have the Social Distance Runners visiting. Both visiting teams will be challenges for the home teams, and maybe we have the chance to further close the gap between them and us before we have our bye week next Tuesday... provided, of course, that we're able to win our own game today

Another hopeless defeat. I don't even remember last time we allowed more than 500 yards on defense. It's definitely not for the lack of quality players, there's quite a few of them and paid handsomely too.
I guess it's back to the drawing board and trying to figure out how to get us out of this slump. |

If someone told me that after 7 weeks my team will be 3-4 with MOTY used I would tell him to stop talk nonsense.

The Defense again came up big today, only letting the TigerCats score a TD on the last play of the game. Before that we stopped them on 4th down in their own territory and scored a TD ourselves, which got us up two scores, thus winning this close one.
The bye week comes at a time when we seem to have found our groove, which is a bit annoying... but hopefully we can pick up next Saturday where we left off today  |
