Quarter Down to go Distance GL Score Clock Offense formation Playtype Playdirection
A: 4 3 any < 65 any any Shotgun 4 WR pass deep both flanks
B: 3 3 any < 65 any any Shotgun 4 WR pass deep all directions
C: any 2 7-10 < 25 any any Big I formation pass medium all directions
D: any 3 2-3 any any any Big I formation rush all directions
E: any 3 7-10 < 75 any any Wishbone pass deep all directions
F: any 4 any any any any Big I formation punt only left flank
G: any 4 any < 35 any any Big I formation fieldgoal only left flank

if you use it like this and you are 4 down and 10, 15 yards to goal then engine start to search your play book she start whit A rule to G rule and A,B,C,D & E rule are all wrong then she find F: rule (so will turn green) so fit to the "certain situation on the field" then she stop searching because she find rule so work, and ignore rule G #your team will punt#

G: any 4 any < 35 any any Big I formation fieldgoal only left flank
F: any 4 any any any any Big I formation punt only left flank

but if you set rule G: (FG rule)before your F: (punt order) then engine will start again on the top from A to F rule then in the same "certain situation on the field" she will find G: rule so work for this situation and make the FG for your team

so you see if you have more then one rule so work for "certain situation on the field" then she will use the first rule she find from top to bottom and ignore all other rule

EDIT: take out smile and put some more word in the text

ok. So it is important to list in order of preference regarding the distance as opposed to ANY.
i also thought Any would replace a play not actually set. So if there was more options set like distance to gaol and time left, they would overide it if there was none.
so if i missed any set options the engine would use Any as last option. do you understand.

No, any is a wildcard for exactly this slot. if no matching rule is in the playbook, the engine will check the game settings, and if this is without any feedback, the engine goes random.

Well ... I don't get you.

What's wrong with the export - import?

use Copy to copy playbooks between your playbook sets. Use Export to send your playbook to others. Use Import to import playbooks you received from others, or you have downloaded - the example playbooks from the manual.
